10 hours deep into this game. Some scary nights pass by ...some don’t. 😛 You learn after you die, of course, and there’s a huge learning curve. Sucks that when you start the game, you're left wondering with no clues... but it gets better each time.

It's really hard but extremely addictive. The sandbox survival can be quite challenging yet not comparable to the Adventure Mode, absolute madness. This game is not easy to learn nor master, but it makes the process engaging. The DLC's add fun variety and characters have cool mechanics and lore. Game has tons of replayability. P.S if you don't enjoy permadeath this game might not be for you. It's not a Terraria or a Minecraft, really stressful. If you enjoy not knowing what you're doing by all means go ahead.

This game is hard and unforgiving, You will die. Alot. That being said, I'd recommend playing the base dont starve before you try any of the DLC's. Specifically hamlet and shipwrecked are very much so built on the processes the base game forces you to learn to muscle memory. This game is amazing the lerning curve is step but maybe the most rewarding of any game ive played. I have 2 worlds on my PS4 that are 1000+ days plus. this game has an amazing abailty of keeping you entertained and learning new processes during the entire learning process. I still feel like im learning alot with dont starve with the new DLCs. Great game and i could not recommend it more.

For beginners it's just a nightmare. Moreover it doesn't support Xbox controller at all... It was made for those who knows how to play this game. For me as a newby it was just unpredictable nighmare to play. Don't like it at all

very fun and rewarding game. Some might say don't starve together is better but this game is still great for a single player experience, mainly because of its two DLCs shipwrecked and hamlet but just the base game is very fun.

Love the visuals. The game has an absolutely unique art-style and audio. Skill demanding (which is not a bad thing!). In my opinion, it may be hard to understand the complex mechanics of the game for a younger audience. Therefore, I would not recommend it to people below 13. But I love that everything in the game is interconnected. Mechanicks are never used for something once, so you can be sure that you'll need all of your knowledge and skills to thrive.

Fun game. Basic survival with interesting items and nice game mechanics. I definitely recommend it for someone who is looking for some single player experience.

Most of my hours for this game are on my Switch. Riddled with bugs and blurry sprites, but otherwise still a great survival experience despite DST taking over the franchise. I will always believe that Adventure Mode is one of if not the best part of the entirety of Don't Starve, so honestly I could definitely see the appeal of playing this over DST if you're by yourself.

A fun and interesting game that combines survival and base building in a way that keeps you coming back! Crafting is simple and has a wide variety of items to choose from. traversal is fun and although the camera can feel slightly jarring at times, is still a welcome edition. I highly recommend this game to anyone reading, especially now, during the summer sale when its at its cheapest.

Neat artstyle, a variety of characters to pick from, it's hard to explain but I adore this game. I just wish the devs would port Shipwrecked and Hamlet to DST.

A really cute game! This game actually has sort of ruined crafting games as a genre, for me. It ramps very well, and every run has its charms and follies. You'll play the role of one of a small cast of unfortunates who are for some reason subject to the sadistic whims of a devil-like character who has stranded you in unexplored terrain. You have to eke out a living, harvesting resources, fending off monsters, and most importantly: not starving. The art style is a good blend of gloomy and cute, sound design is really engaging and funny, and some of the absurd "story elements" have made me laugh out loud, even as I'm being obliterated into permadeath. Great game, fully plan to play it again eventually. Also check out the multiplayer "Don't Starve Together"!

Really good game. However, would recommend to get the multiplayer version Don't Starve together. In addition to multiplayer, that game has lots of additions and content.

A great game that is the definition of "Fuck around and Find out." Very little direction but pretty self intuitive if you're at all verse in survival. Very fun. Honestly one of my favorites.

I've been playing this game since it came out. It never gets old. I recommend it to everyone who will listen to me. Its art is unmatched and it is complex enough to keep you entertained for years while also not overwhelming. I mean it can be overwhelming but its easy to learn and be good at it. I own it on my phone, switch, and PC.

Un juego difícil, en el cual no tienes casi ayuda. El modo "ironman" debería ser opcional, es muy fácil morir por cualquier nimiedad. Hay MODS que solucionan esos problemas, el principal uno que evita el juego borre el savegame cuando falleces. Asún así s un juego complejo y allí está el disfrute de superar día a día.

A rather challenging survival game! I've really enjoyed my time with it. The game does demand wicked planning capabilities. I would recommend playing with the Reign of Giants DLC, as It adds even more to the gameplay. There is also a multiplayer version if that suits your fancy.

this is possibly better than any survival game the artstyle is unique the game mechanics are awesome and the biomes and enviroments are perhaps better than minecraft's in my opinion the possibilities are endless

if happiness was a game then this is the game. you can craft and build alot of stuff. very much like terraria, so much so that theres a crossover between dont starve and terraria. this is so good that even my mom loves this game, and they dont like alot of games that i like. mom approved 10/10

I played this constantly years ago, and after picking up the DLC, it still holds up great!

A very fun survival game with a personality. Replayed it recently and it still holds up so long as you use a few convenience mods from workshop. You'll find your own way to survive among many viable options in an interesting world with lots to explore. If you don't like something in the game, you can always generate a custom random world that doesn't have it. A feature more survival games should have. Reign of Giants DLC wasn't my cup of tea as it adds more things I had to keep in check during seasons where I want to venture out and do things, but I can always generate a classic world instead. Absolute banger.

I keep on starving. I prefer to starve together with friends :p It's an enjoyable game, so enjoyable that I have it on my Switch too!

Incredibly fun, as long as you are someone who loves dying in video games to learn about them.

Love the game, but needs to be updated where you can have another character in your world to help you, like a bot, where you can select what character this bot can be, then they can do the functions of their powers automatically. Help you fight. Help you collect things. Or can have multiple bots. Similar to Sims where you can control all the characters and switch between them. This I would love to see in the future cause I have had this game for years! but soooo difficult when you have no one to play with unfortunately. I have the together pack but the groups kick you out when they dont know who you are sadly.

Yeah I know only 2.6 hours, PUNY! But from this time (I know I can’t judge it properly) my terraria loving self is already falling in love with this game and I love the fact that every run you can get even further than the last. I don’t know many of the mechanics but I love how you can customise the world by adding more food, resources, or even less enemies and longer days (meaning less torches etc needed) Also there seems to be a lot of lore going on as there are many characters (funny blind scientist man is my favourite) and so many enemies, like the pig people, they so funky, one guy killed a spider for me such a nice guy! Then I preceded to kill him for food. Finally I really like the difficulty of the game as from being funny scientist man with dietary requirements to setting everything on fire with crazy lady, and the other characters I haven’t unlocked, weird strong guy, tin man, ABAGAIL, yes that is a terraria reference. Crazy lady with tho book thing, kid with the balloons and others I can’t be bothered noting. Aight cya play terraria

Pros: • Very fun • You can choose your own path • You can play the game for as long as you want (it is infinite.) • You can build your base however you want • Various characters (Look up "How to get Webber Don't Starve RoG" Only do that if you have the Reign of Giants DLC.) • Cheap price (especially during the Klei Entertainment Sale) • Single player if you are an introvert (unless you get Don't Starve Together) • You could run it on a potato Cons: • Very hard • When you die, you have to restart the entire game • VERY steep learning curve ★★★★☆

W game has less content than the multiplayer game but this game has the surviving charm in switching worlds still being hard and for me was like a more relaxed experiance def if you want to buy get all 3 of the DLC RoG is just the basic game kinda without this the game doesnt feel complete Shipwrecked a troppical "safe heaven" looks really lively and its really nice to look at one fo the best places to megabase, if u want to you can live in the VOLCANO bc bosses wont spawn and moonsoons wont make puddles. (TIP) if you make it compatible with hamlet wich you definetly should you can use the brain of though to get hamlet houses without ever touching hamlet Hamlet: W experiance interesting bosses, harder seasons but still pretty fun Its the best palce to megabase as there no nogrow seasons so plants wont wither except if you dont burn them themselfs then mostlikely they will :) in conclusion 10/10 game,fun,hard,good looking but 1000% get all the DLCS for the best experiance

One of the best games I've ever played! It is recommended to go in without research and trying to experiment and learn from you're mistakes! If you like survival games, this is one of, if not, the best survival game there is! Remember: Don't Starve!
