The only good Remastered Crysis! Within 20 minutes you can tell it is better than Crysis 2 Crysis 3 a nice wrap up for a game series that was clearly not supposed to go beyond Crysis and Crysis Warhead. The story as Convoluted as Crysis 2 was is far more understandable and there's a lot more interpersonal issues (The first time since Crysis Warhead). This game fixes so many issues of Crysis 2 though it is a bit shorter it has basically 0 bugs and never crashed like the previous 2 remasters which are terribly buggy and Crysis 2 Remaster is very prone to crashing. I wish i had played this when it came out but then at that time since i hadnt played Crysis 1 or Warhead i dont know if i could have understood it. Overall this is a nice inbetween of Crysis open sandbox and Crysis 2's Linear narrative story. Pro's: -SPRINTING NO LONGER DRAINS ENERGY AND LAST A GOOD LONG TIME THANK FUCK! -The Bow is Straight OP -You have moments of straight up being an unkillable killing machine! -More Character building than the rest of the series combined and Crysis Warhead was like 65% of that -You can use Ceph weapons now! -Even more Verticallity than Crysis 2 -Looks great even in 2025 -Less Linear than Crysis 2 -Enemies are no longer bullet sponges! -Psycho is back! -Suit upgrades are far more useful now but there are clearly superior ones -Stealth kills can with the upgrade no longer uncloak you -No ultra tank stealth assassin enemies like in crysis 2 -Shitton more Cutscenes ingame and prerendered -Boss fights that arent bullshit bullet sponges -Much larger levels than Crysis 2 Con's: -Setting is nowhere near as cool as Crysis 2 -Music is not as good as Crysis 2 -Like more than half of the missions are in the dark -Vehicle sections fucking suck, worst in the series by far -Takes about the same amount of time to beat as Crysis but feels so short -Level environments are all very similar even at the final stage your still in the jungle/ruined city -The new Incinerator enemy is basically a non-threat even on the hardest difficulty -I fucking Hate what they did to the Gauss Rifle in Crysis 2 and its the same damn thing in 3, 9 shots thats it. -They fucked up the JAW rocket launch so theres major kick when you shoot in guided mode so you will always miss what your aiming at like what dumbfuck thought that that was a good idea!!!!!! -The Bow is plain and Simple way too strong the returning tanky units in Crysis 2 die to the bow in at most 3 hits on SUPER HUMAN -Unfortunately the final mission feels like it came and went too fast. In Crysis 2 the final mission Walk in the park(until you hit them damn cloakers) Feels like a final mission you felt the excitement of "your about to beat the fucking Aliens", here there was a build up but maybe since this game focused more on characters the feeling of "hell yeah lets do this" and "O SHIT" just wasnt there Like in EVERY PREVIOUS CRYSIS GAME! So I would say this game Gameplay wise is much much better than Crysis 2 and would be considered a side grade to Crysis. The Characters have a far stronger Prescence than all previous games. The story on the other hand well Crysis 1 was more interesting and Crysis 2 really really gave that apocolypse vibe. The game is shorter than all but warhead and is by far the easiest of all Crysis games to beat. O yeah and there were way way too many frogs and squirrels in Crysis 3. 7.5/10: Stability: 1 - no issues Bugs: 1 - only bug i saw was twice enemies ran into walls and killed themselves Music: 0.5 - dont remember any of it Visuals: 1 - epic Story: 0.5 - just wasnt feeling it like in Previous Crysis games as Crysis 3 was far too traditional Hollywood for me Characters: 0.5 - One of the 3 characters was insanely predictable, Prophet... well is Prophet, Psycho is the only one that really brings up the cast. Presentation: 1 - but not as good as Crysis 2 Enemies: 0.5 - mostly reused and reskinned Crysis 2 enemies and a couple of unique bosses(Crysis 2 Cell looked cooler btw) Levels: 0.5 - Some levels look great however the final 2 levels/areas are just mid as hell June 22 2025 I have completed my Playthrough of the Entire Crysis Series on the Hardest difficulty and disregarding bugs i will rank each game. 1: Crysis Warhead - More of the Original Crysis but is far far harder and jank as Fuck Cutscenes, but you actually get to fight with a team of Nanosuit dudes and the levels are fucking amazing literally everything about Crysis warhead besides that cutscenes is fucking perfect. This game made you feel like a true badass. 2: Crysis - This is the definitive Crysis that was the stepping stone for Crysis Warhead and this game had The best Vehicle sections 3: Crysis 3 - This is the best of the 2 Sequels and has the best Boss battles in the series which TBH are so damn easy on super human 4: Crysis 2 - Has the best Music, Atmosphere, and setting but the worst gameplay by a country mile. PS: Crytek is bloody stupid. cancelling Crysis 4 for more HUNT content Crysis will ALWAYS have a greater brand name and potential.
Aliens Love New York City for some reason
Features I liked: -The nanosuit and its stealth, power, and agility. -i wouldn't use a bow that much but its a great addition. - it's incredibly satisfying to use and complements the stealth gameplay perfectly. -The suit feels smoother and more refined than before, and the ability to customize weapons on the fly is a big plus. sometimes i felt like the Doom guy for Aliens I didn't like: -The campaign felt a bit short, if u compare it with the older games. -Tried to play with a controller, but it felts difficult to move the camera. best way to play is mouse+keyboard. Performance: Crysis 3 ran flawlessly on my system. I had a locked 60fps experience with no crashes, no dips, or technical issues whatsoever. It’s well-optimized considering how visually demanding the game is. I played on Ultra but I've played with raytracing for an hour which gave me around 40-50 on ultra. Graphics: Absolutely stunning. The mix of nature reclaiming the cityscape is visually breathtaking. From water reflections to lighting effects and lush vegetation, Crysis 3 still holds up as one of the best-looking games even years later. CryEngine can compete with other game engines even to this day.

Though I enjoyed the game in general, but I'll be honest, the last hours of playing, it became a little monotonous, and the last main boss, I didn't even beat, because it seemed really tedious, I just watched the ending on YouTube :D

This game series is game comfort food. I absolutely love the game play and can't recommend it enough. The remastered version is a beauty to behold. It's too bad no future Crysis games are expected anymore.

Like the original, this game is just amazing. The graphics and gameplay are the best in the series. And the music and audio are superb. I thoroughly enjoyed it. rating: 9/10 Want Crysis 4 pls

I recommend this game based on being part of a trilogy, otherwise, I am struggling to finish it without taking breaks due to checkpoint frustration. I don't feel as engaged as the first two in the series. Edit: Finally finished, hoping the fourth game will be great.

I absolutely loved every minute of it. Not too long. Not too short. and there was an ending. The first time I played this a very long time ago. I did not appreciate. how good these games are. There was loads of games at the time With similar gameplay. These days, there is not many story driven fps

Solid Shooter, but unfortunately they had not many new ideas for this one, it's just more Crysis.

(Playtime not representative of actual playtime; played on PS3 for hundreds) This game has given me many hours of fun, especially the intel and lore collection. You could play this without playing any of the other installments and have fun on the gameplay alone. The new predator bow is an excellent addition to the game that sets it further aside from Crysis 2. My one complaint is how they attempted to open up the map for the later parts of the game. Despite being so open, it feels emptier than if they hadn't done it at all. Great game.
