Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance

One of my favorite games from the PS2 era. Really holds up. Fabulous port, also.

Pretty much unplayable on Steam with mouse and keyboard. Animations sped up to unrealistic levels, unable to use Recall potions from menu. Save your money, give this a miss.

Honestly if this game was for sale for $5 I would say it was worth it. Outside of that, I would skip. Even for the nostalgia factor. Wizards of the coast is GREEDY AS FUCK

By far one of my favorite games from my childhood.. That said, there is absolutely nothing "Enhanced" about this game. It is somehow worse than the original as you need to tinker with your frame rate / vsync to even get it to run properly. By default the game is running at about 200x speed, which makes the game completely unplayable. The fact that this is a 20 year old game being pawned off on us for $30 is egregious on it's own, let alone with all the issues the game has. Have sent my refund request and will instead be downloading a RoM of this game to get my fix..

If you don't have fond memories of the game from childhood and don't have friends to play, don't bother. The game is simply punishing to play solo. There's not a way to grind for levels, respec, or find more powerful magic items and come back later. That would be okay, but it's just so easy to get ganked by a few gnolls and end up their meal. I finally called it quits when the game expected me to solo frost giants that out of nowhere will either do zero damage, or 7/8ths of my health bar. Oh yeah, and I'm the sword-and-board dwarf fighter.

epick game graphics might not be good but it is sa good split screen game

really bad controls, gameplay seems to be speed up like 2x compared to same game on console. It is impossible to play. Asking for refund.

Played this game non stop on PS2, nothing bad to say ♥ I WILL BEAT THAT B*** AT THE TOP OF THE TOWER AGAIN!

Multiplayer is broken. Crappy game.
