I've played this game before, but I can't remember much about it. I do remember some scenes, like a dream you once had and can only recall small shards of. The third game in the series ditches 2D and goes full 3D. And they make sure you notice, by making you climb, crawl, shimmy, jump, pull, push and have any other possible movement involved with the 3d objects in the game. It goes a bit crazy at times. The biggest downer is a huge forced stealth section halfway through the game, involving a big castle. There's also a big theater earlier, that's mostly empty corridors and locked doors. They really liked to show off their 3D set pieces it seems. It takes some tinkering to get it working properly on modern systems. At least on widescreen ones. Luckily PCGW comes to the rescue. https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/3474-broken-sword-3-the-sleeping-dragon-fov-fix/ There's no fixing the control scheme however. You control your character with the arrow keys, and then your actions are mapped to WASD. It's a bit weird, but not a big deal. I would have preferred if it was just point and click, and there's really no reason that couldn't have been the case. But as I said, we are now in the 3D era and you'll work with it damnit!

Still not fun because it's an adventure game, but this one is actually pretty funny. The stereotypical aussie pilot is a source of much humour, and some weird lines by the female protagonist also elicted much confused laughter outta me.
