A neat little story in idyllic Nordic settings. But... Unfortunately the game and story is completely ruined by extremely cringe and unnatural dialog from beginning to end. I tried to put a blind eye to it, and just enjoy the scenery and imagine the game without the insufferable characters, but it was impossible. Both characters are SO annoying, the game and story basically dies of cringe. It's a shame really, cause it could have been a nice game, if it had been told by likable characters. Props to the devs for the scenery and for using Norwegian language (in text) etc.. But PLEASE hire some decent screenwriters for the dialog next time.

I'm glad this game was so short, because it was a pretty slow walking sim. I love mystery games, but I feel like this one was anti-climactic. Maybe worth $5 since there's only ~2 hours of game play, but definitely not $20. I did enjoy the graphics and sound track though.
This story had so much potential, and in the end, it was just an unsolved mystery that you draw your own conclusions about. You never get to find out what actually happened to Ruth and the rest of Graavik.
Worth purchasing for the landscapes alone. It's a slow paced walking simulator with a good story that didn't overstay its welcome.

Really sweet walking sim/mystery that very much leaves you to make your own conclusions. I love Alice so much, she's relentless and a beautiful contrast to the old and tired Edward. Tiny thing that I really appreciate in games is when interruptions feel very natural - if you click an item mid-conversation, 9 times out of 10 it will interrupt the existing conversation in a pretty natural way which is nice. Not to spoil anything, but there are things about Alice which seemed out of place, but it turned out they really, really are not. It is a little short given the price, but made up for in my eyes by the beautiful art, music and characterisation. Happy to hear that this isn't the last we'll see of these 2!

Very atmospheric walking simulation game with a decent mystery at the heart of it. Loved the characters as well.

Well... I tried to launch the game many times, but I never succeeded. When launching, an error appears: "Application load error 3:0000065432". The evil irony is that the pirated repack launches without problems... Well, I already paid the money, so I have the right to download the torrent file. But this has nothing to do with the quality of the game itself; overall, it's great.

Sorry if it seems i wrote this too soon in the game. Any game that takes 5 minutes to walk up a short hill in the very beginning has lost me at the start.

My first playthrough took me about 3.5 hours for 69% achievements (nice). The environments are pretty (and get REALLY dark to tell you that you don't need anything in that place), the soundtrack is amazing, the voice-acting is high-quality. Draugen gives us narrative tension very early on: while our PC Edward is seeking clues to the whereabouts of his sister, he and his companion happen upon clues to a different mystery. Edward wants to ignore those clues while Alice derides him as heartless for ignoring these people's plight. I found both characters unlikable in how they chose to handle this, which made wanting to continue to play a little difficult. Fortunately, the game moves you through its story quickly enough that you don't have to linger with it for very long. The story is ultimately unfulfilling and feels like there's a lot that ended up on the cutting-room floor. I would love to know more about everything in this world! Since the lore captured my attention and the production value was so high, it earns a "Recommend" from me, but I would definitely wait for a sale.
