Artist Life Simulator

The game concept is great, there is a lot of different paths and things to manage, its very in depth and pulls you in very well. However, "beating" the game, is extremely difficult, not because the steps to get there are hard, but because the game is VERY VERY unforgiving, and it is EXTREMELY RNG based... any action you preform could very well doom you, I have been put into unfixable situations. Like losing health down to 0 putting me in a timer to regain 1 HP to prevent the end of my run, BUT I ALSO BROKE MY LEG SO I CANT VISIT THE DOCTOR OR DRUGSTORE TO REGAIN HP TO STOP MY RUN FROM DYING!! The game needs to be balanced a bit, way too many terrible things randomly happen, and you quickly find your self doing what ever you can to just not die to a load of random BS.

Its a very interesting game. It does work with controller tho its not listed as such so I am not going to rate that (its bearable with controller). However I was slightly disappointed because there was no actual painting or drawing. And even with the paintings you create from the cards they are very little of your own doing. And as a couch player they are a bit small. It got overwhelming with managing all the cards and different activities that I just did not feel as an artist enough for me to want to keep playing. Still positive because we need more unique games! With a few twists and this being more of a relaxed game allowing you to create paintings yourself as in Ete for example i would probably give this a 10/10
