Agatha Christie - Murder on the Orient Express

It's a really good point and click adventure. Never read the books, but the story in the game was pretty entertaining. Hercule is pretty funny. Would recommend for people who like detective puzzle games.

A good, long game. I liked it, although I wish there was an option to skip dialogues and cutscenes cuz you can read the subtitles faster, so it gets a bit tedious. Because of that inconvenience, I spent 2.5 extra hours just for the last two achievements. The collectibles are incredibly cute, especially the phrase when picking them up: "Come here, my exquisitely sculpted friends!" These mustaches are just too adorable. I appreciated that the story doesn't sugarcoat things — it shows the crimes as they are and leaves in the harsh realities of life. I also liked the part about the U.S. and the other detective; it made the story feel more complete. A cozy atmosphere and the classic structure of a Poirot novel. Plot-wise, it's quite a solid piece.

This is a good game with an engaging story & enough interactive puzzles to make you feel like you're really doing the work. The interface is a little annoying, especially near the end where you have to dodge some obstacles, but the story and gameplay are good enough to overlook that. BTW if you know the story, it's basically the same, but updated for the 21st century - and with a couple of extra chapters at the end that I'm pretty sure were new content.

A surprise for a fan of Agatha Christie. You think you know the plot because you've read the books and/or seen the movies, but a nice mystery unfolds. Well worth it.

Great story and really fun puzzles

I see many improvements as opposite of last part - manual save system, better interface, different puzzles, better system for walking, camera. Tasks to perform are sometimes horrendous to me - finding out dessert recipe, choosing essential oil, making cocktail, stacking packages, fixing orange juicer, open matryoshka doll for people only to make them speak to detective is a little bit derogatory. On top of that story is linear, majority of deductions are easy, but you have some decisions to make where you can make mistakes if you don't focus on details. However I won't lie - some mini games were cool and interesting - these are also new in this series of games. But looking at last Agatha Christie - Hercule Poirot game that I played recently (The First Cases) I like this one a little bit more.

I should have trusted the negative reviews because it's literally so boring. The puzzles (can we even call it that?) are so easy and irrelevant to the plot, it just feels like they're just throwing it in there so you feel like there's something to do in the game. It's such a shame because I think the graphics are quite good and who doesn't love Agatha Christie's story right? I'm sad because it's a waste of such a good franchise and story, they could have done a well-made, real detective game. Would not recommend at all.
