The game is a fucking scam 72hrs of play time but oneday last year they updated this game so the US cant play you need a Asian ID to play i stayed off for the rest of that year now im back and see they have no plan on changing this shit!!!!!!!!!!!! Steam do something there still selling this game to the U.S and they cant even PLAY!!!!!!!!!!!

A lot of the people rating this game positive are only doing so solely due to the potential this game has. I 100% agree on that, however as of right now this only appears to be a money grab or purely just poor advertisement in the West. Before you should buy, you should know the developer and publisher both are Chinese. They post most maintence alerts and patch notes in Chinese as well. Not once since release have they ever mentioned the US servers they do have and after hours of queues, people still haven't been able to find games. If you are in NA right now and want to find a game, your only option is to queue the Chinese server and even then its laggy af and unplayable. I suggest Steam put this game on sale ASAP, maybe give it a free weekend so that more US people can get in. I would even go as far as saying that they should allow CubeGame to give up Publishing rights in NA and give it to more competent publishers where the title could flourish.

Quick review - straight to the point. I know streamers are going to be scrolling down to see the first reaction. 1. currently only chinese servers up 2. this causes the game to be tremendously laggy almost not playable. 3. The game is your basic battle royal game with unique melee combat, you get your death circle, you get your loot from empty houses, exchange cars for horses and you got your BR game with a mix of magical martial arts moves. 4. the concept is great, visually it's beautiful, there is a deeper mechanic behind combat but right now it's hard to feel it with the servers being so laggy. 5. hopefully it becomes region locked 6. They should create something different from the BR oversaturation - when you play this game you can tell it'd be a much better open world sandbox game with COOP and potential PVP events to create dynamic battles, a world filled with NPC factions...and thriving world building would be superb. I am waiting a bit in hopes to get a english patch/american servers It's worth a shot if you're a streamer with 19000/20000 , it's different enough to keep your fans interested until you attention span dwindles into oblivion and you do a night stream. will UPDATE when more updates come along.

Only buy this if you are from China or you'll suffer extreme rubber banding during melee combat. Performance wise i am getting 60fps and it drops around 45fps in some areas, only problem is that only China servers are working right now. I still believe that US and SEA servers doesn't really exist till i get an actual proof that it is actually there. I will update this review once i found out that US and SEA servers are finally working. Update: That price increase tho omegalul

Okay, so it's early days for this game but I think it shows incredible promise. What I like: * The graphics. They're gorgeous! * The theme and setting. Martial arts Kung Fu and weapons in ancient China. Fantastic! * The way you learn and customise your own martial art style as you play the game. I really think that this is a brilliant system than works very well in tangent with the setting. What needs to be improved: * The servers. The game needs EU servers, which it currently lacks. The US servers don't seem to work. One's only option at the present time is to play on the China servers, which results in often crippling lag that can make the combat unresponsive and inaccurate. * Some sort of guide to help people better understand the unique gameplay systems. In short, it's a wonderful game that is, currently, almost fatally undermined by server issues (as I write this, it is still the day of release). If these issues can be overcome, this game could potentially become one of the best battle royale games out there.

Game is in China only, dead servers.

Great game with tons of promise and potential. Even in its current state it is a blast and the map and cities are awesome. Main issues atm for any US players: The US Servers work, But the Que is so long due to us all playing on Chinese servers and being too impatient. To be fair who wants to wait an hour for a game? not me... But if we all start waiting soon that wont be a big issue, and times should improve. At least until more US players pick up this great game. So dont let the reviews saying they dont work prevent you from buying it. If it looks interesting to you and you dont mind early accesss games its for sure worth picking up.

i tried connect SEA servers for 1 hr! cannot! i only can play in china server which is extremely LAG! Developer please do something~ and a lot of bug you guys need to fix....

first of all...US server either not launch yet or no one is playing it. so ppl not in mainland china can skip this game 美服沒開 國外朋友 散了吧

I went against everything in my head saying "Don't buy this game yet!" and took a chance, Glad I did.. There's definitely a learning curve w/ the martial arts; but, Martial arts take time to learn. If you were a fan of the old kung-fu movies growing up and you like BR games, give it a try. Once they open up other servers, this game will blow up imo.. Game is playable on the server they have open now, only notice a lil'bit of lag in 1/5 matches. Also, not even a min wait time between matches.. I've played tons of Early Access games and for this one to be on a server in China as of now, I'm really impressed with it. ;)

There are no servers to join games. You cannot make your own games either without having to pay a fee, this is ridiculous. Bought the game but unable to start or join any games, this game is unplayable. Suggestion to make it possible to start a custom solo game where at least you can explore the map even if population of this game is low.

DO NOT BUY, THIS GAME IS DEAD. NO ONE WILL PLAY WITH YOU BECAUSE THERE ISN'T ANY PLAYER. EVEN IF U DO JOIN, THE SERVER IS IN CHINA. YOU WILL HAVE 200 PING!!!

I really want to play this game, but right now its not an option. I couldn't even get to the main menu because it was in Chinese or Japanese. I guess you can change it to English, but I was at a screen I think to make a user name but it would not go through. So once that is fixed I would love to play the game. Also beware I have read not many players on western servers and even people in Asia have issues. Hope things get fixed this game looks dope.

At the moment, just don't get this game if you're living outside of China. Also the game is poorly optimized. Totally unplayable.

Couldnt figure out what the hell the first screen was asking so i slapped my keyboard out of rage and it worked. Turns out it was asking me to pick a username. After you do that you can go to settings and set it to english. Then you get to play on the chinese server and lag hard enough to mount your own spear while getting slapped multiple times on the chest by some angry asian guy.

The landscapes and Cities looking nice. i was impressed. The game is easy to learn but hard to master, it gives various weapons as swords, spears, longswords, greatswords etc. + for longer range bows, throwing knives, bola and a few more. The game itselfs is kind of unique and has a special atmosphere. The fighting aspects are interesting too, because it need some tactical knowledge which skills you use at the right time and which weapon u use because of range or for example bleeding and the different skills you can learn for these weapons. The problem atm is the playerbase. The most people are from China and u find really fast a game on chinese servers. Its Playable with some lags. American ans Sea servers are implemented but it only needs players to start and the waiting time is to long. The Devs are still working for this game. they are a small group of people but with updates releasing fast they do a good Job with this optimazing the game more and more

This game has a lot of potential but that doesn't make it fun :( It's a game I really want to love, it reminds me a little of the Dark Souls pvp scene but it needs a lot more development before it's really playable. Severe lag, several graphic issues, and some fuzzy gameplay mechanics make it difficult to enjoy. There are some gamplay issues that will probably figure themselves out as game developes like, if your winning a fight the person can just run away. You could chase but your both just going the same speed so unless you have an item to throw your out of luck. Most of my time in game was waiting to find a game and then the lag was horrible. I haven't seen anything about new server locations so who knows what the plans are and how far out fixes are coming. I'm sure a lot of the issues will be figured out in development but right now it's painfull to try and enjoy.

2/10 Absolutly garbage combat system. when you swing your sword it feels good but movement is sluggish, clunky, and frustrating. Fast weapons dominate because smamming guard break and then mashing mouse1 is the best way to play. when you actually see an ememy they will just back off and heal non stop while you are stuck in their "combat mode" walking towards them at the speed of a snail. also you can move while healing so they just back off and walk backwards while healing. You can spend all your stamina to dash to them but then they just stun lock you and laugh. think of all the worst parts about darksouls combat rolled into one without any of its smooth and effective style. whoever made this has no fucking clue what they are doing. One of the worst features is their "explosion" move where if you get hit enough or block attacks it fils up a bar. when the bar is full you can press "g" to stun everyone around you.... so if you are beating someone they fill up their bar and stun you and then get a guaranteed rebuttle... its so bull shit because you cant actually just beat someone without taking any dmg. and there is no way to predict it and it is instant cast.... even durring a stun... so its all just bullshit comabt and it laggs like a bitch.

7.5/10 Everything you love and hate about pubg but with swords! This game has is very buggy but still tons of fun. A very steep learning curve to learn the combat in the begining. Dont let that discourage you because once you figure it out its freakin awesome. if your in china use uu to help with any lag problems as with any game when playing from china.

This game has potential to be the one of a kind battle royal. The lack of server choice is it's downfall. Gameplay is fun overall, but the only server available is China and if you are not in China, it is almost unplayable.

only China sever...i cant find match at SEA region..and when i play China region...always delay 1s-2s...i think this is bug they should fix first but they never think about it .. so sad..just buy game if you at China..delete this game

The game isnt displayed correctly in steam when i seen the game i got a Rust kind of vibe a survival MMO ETC, but this is more a PUBG after seeing some video's, What kan u exspect when u open the game. - Very glitchy and slow interface game needs serveral restars before your settings have been applied! - English translation is to the minimum it only translates highligh features where to start etc everything else stays chinees. - Spend 20min waiting for a lobby to get hit with a timeout error. - could not enter the gameplay only got to see video's of a pubg/fortnite style game there for the information displayed in the store is also incorrect, i do believe this game could be a good fun game for those who like pubg with swords but as it stands now it should be back to the drawing tables and not asking people 25 euro to find ur bugs etc

I was unable to even get in so I refunded 8 min after trying to get in just a box to type something and everything thing in chinese. I type different nickname but nothing . Ill wait untill some english translation is up in the game. and buy it again to try.

Despite the low US pop for servers, I am having fun with this game. A good switch up from PUBG fast pace shooting.

Servers of this game are in China, South-east Aisa and America. So the ping may not satble for people in other regions. This game can tell u the construction of Chinese Wulin(Kongfu) faction. U can know about the weapons that Knights used in ancient China and know about how to use them. Weapons learning system are one of special points of this game, it means that u can use a weapon by dozens of style. Though the mode of this game is similar with PUBG, it is not friendly for Shooting game lovers. This game is very demanding for your keyboard so the Warcraft players may like them.

I am pretty sure that this game does not have any US servers for now, although it has a (fake) option to switch servers. Be aware if you are not in Asia neither can't tolerate with high latency gaming! I recommand For Honor since Marching Fire DLC is comming soon. At least, Ubisoft's potato server works in US. Will update if they add real servers for US. 我觉得目前这游戏的美国服务器选项应该是废的。在美国的还是甭试了。

I can only find a match on Chinese servers and the lag is the worst I've seen in years. Combat is not fun either. I really like this kind of chinese art style and thought it would be fun. Chinese game developers do not innovate in gaming. This game is just a copy and paste of PUBG.

As the game is right now I would not recommend it to USA or EU players. The USA servers aren't working, have spend 2,5 hours waiting for a match without result. The Game gets stuck on the loading screen if you try to play on the Chinese servers...and no amount of re-start, uninstall - re-intall seems to fix this problem. It looks amazing and has potential, however untill they have fixed issue with the servers or created stable USA /EU servers I would recommend to wait as an western player

Great game i see a lot of potential! but! I would hope to get some U.S servers soon!!! I get super glitchy in fights and sometimes i dont even see them....I am still currently playing the game and hopefully it gets better. Overall i do recommend the game as a battle royal cause its something different and more unique.

When the game first started, I could not make much of an argument to convince other gamers to play this game, it was not translated fully, there were only chinese and asian servers, and you had to play on low graphics to play with least amount of lag. Now the game has been updated, and i have deleted an earlier review to fully amend and announce what cons i had with this game, have been addressed. There are American servers, the game has been fully translated to English, and I have been able to turn up my graphics from low. Ultra still doesn't quite load quickly to fully enjoy the game quite yet, but it does show alot of progress these developers have made in such a short time. If you like battle royal genre games, and like Feudal Asian times, this game is worth a try. It is beautiful, well thought out, and easy to pick up. You fight with Feudal Age weaponry, and martial arts. Instead of vehicles, you have horses. It does have your basic layout of the popular PUBG. The map, loadout, search for weapons/armor, and fighting in an area with a closing battle circle. However, one new factor makes the game abit more interesting, aside of playing with swords, bows, and whatnot, is there are skill books, to learn more complex attacks, or even skills, for instance: Wall running, wall bounce. Just to name a few. There are traps such as, bamboo ground spikes, and bear traps. Throwables like old style grenades, throwing knives, or even smoke powder bombs. Over all, I think this game has been improved to where i can strongly suggest it, and ask more American based players to join in and help bring up the player count in the American servers.

The concept is amazing. The gameplay is great. It just lags so much. I will lag when I meet another person almost every time. It's hard to win fights when it freezes up right when the fight starts. Once this is fixed, this game will be top notch.

On the first day ,the game literally stutters a lot among all players with different specs.As a close beta tester ,I was kinda worried about this game at that point.So I wait and see until two days later and it finally works.The stuttter is fixed now and the game is playable upon release.They are but a small team but I have faith in them.This game has a lot potential so keep up the good work,looking forward to the sandbox mode.Cheers

Not really recommend to buy now because the only server that's available at this moment is China (only if you can play in China server) Pros: - Great graphic - Interesting combat Cons: - Laggy - Only China server available - Difficult to find games in matchmaking session Will i come back for this game? Definitely yes because the whole concept of this game is quite interesting although it is similar to PUBG. Really love how they interpret the chinese martial art into this game. Hope for the best for the upcoming updates!

Hello everyone, If you buy and want to play with the NA community, join the Discord: https://discord.gg/bRnBF48 So far the game is promising, the graphics are pretty good, and the towns are diverse and interesting. It has a crate system very similar to PUBG's (although a bit cheaper if you want to buy keys). Currently NA population is low, resulting in people just jumping into the China servers for an instant match. I'll update this review down the road as it gets closer to full release. Update #1: I spent so much time queueing with people in NA trying to get a match, but I have never been able to play on the NA server. I spent so much time waiting in queue in the main menu that Steam refused to let me refund the game, and rejected my appeal. I doubt this game will get off the ground in NA without a major sale or Free Weekend event.

Edit - ok they messed up and now it's unplayable. Och well nevermind. I think this is one of the best PUBG alternatives out there. Atmosphere by the bucketload and the mechanics and learning system is just brilliant. However playing on Chinese servers is hit and miss in terms of the lag. Some days it is fine to get kills and get to the last 2 or 3 for a showdown which is just amazing fun. Other games your input lag will be horrific. This deserves more recognition and if players were on the US servers and if there were EU servers available (and then players on them) there would likely be not many negative reviews. Will update in the future...

A suprisingly good game. I was doubtful as well. But after trying it for a few rounds, the unique system became very convincing. The combat system is very creative. You can build your own combo / kungfu style with different weapons. The potential variaions / depth of the combat style is much wider than the traditional gunplay based BR games. The developer needs to upgrade the server system though.

As of right now the only populated servers are China, so if your seeking NA, and or South East Asia then there are basically NONE. In other words dead servers, and so you will not be able to play at all on those servers. I queued for matches in NA, and have not found one yet. Switched to China, and was able to find, and played 4 games, and the searches took no longer than 5 minutes. Why? Well maybe because China numba wan. As for America...Make America great again! We need NA servers to be populated. Otherwise we stuck with China, unless we refund. (those that are still able) However, the game itself is only partially translated into English, (switch in game) but its still easy to figure what is what. It took me no longer than 3 minutes. As for the gameplay. It was laggy ass shit for me in China whenever I engaged in pvp. Noticed attacks delaying, movements, and etc. Perhaps if it was NA server than it would be a different story. As for the boxes that you purchase in game with the money you earned. You cant even open them. Why? Because you need to purchase the required keys with real money to open the damn boxes...Cheap ass money grabbing ass sniffing garbage right there. So rework that part. Otherwise that is a killer cheap shot move. Sure the keys are cheap, but hey, money is money, so either make the keys available to purchase with in game money, or simply for free. However, the game does indeed have potential to be not just a good game, but a great game. So, players in NA, as well as South East Asia will have to wait, and last but not least, the fireworks go boom. Its officially 2019 where I'm located. Lets populate NA servers! Once thats accomplished MAYBE I will then change my review. Again change that key purchase cheap ass sniffing money grabbing bullshit.

The game looks pretty but it's a really early access version as of August 2018. Ping is absurd since only China servers work and that makes PvP impossible. America's servers queue for over 1h without finding a game. No explanation whatsoever of the mechanics and default key bindings are weird AF. DO. NOT. BUY. (unless people are actually playing in America's servers)

This game has a potential, A battle royal base on art martial with the beauty of Chinese land is very attractive but this is not enough, the gameplay isn't smooth enough, some skill is clearly useless due to this poor gameplay for example "wall run"... You are supposed to be able to run on the wall but you can't access to the rooftop, the character stuck because this game doesn't have any animation to climb a wall or anything else. The game does not fully support Controller it's a pain to play with a controller as with a keyboard. This kind of game needs to be well playable with a controller... For now, I just feel play an old MMO. I will keep playing after each update to see how it goes and I wish it goes far and do not stuck and fail as H1Z1... Edit: After almost 10 hours of playing this game, It confirmed my first opinion on this game. This is a sandbox full of a good idea but none of them is efficient. This game is, for now, an early alpha. Basic animation is missing. You can cross a rock of 30 centimetres if you don't jump. There no animation to enter by a window or cross a wall. Seek and Hide is not easy speciality if you ride a horse he will never stop to scream. You can't control the speed of walk, I stop here because I could continue so long to describe how much the animation kill the fun of gameplay. Most of the trap that you can set is useless and this is too bad because trap could be part of fight strategy. some weapon like BOW isn't working properly, sometimes you can target sometimes it absolutely impossible. The Grenade also has a problem they can work and explode fine or be useless and do not work at all if one isn't working they will all not... And the biggest problem that makes me decide to stop playing is the latency. the game runs smoothly then you imagine is working fine, however all enemy I tried to hit taken no damage but they are able to take me down in few hits. Also when the gaming is loading, I can hear people fight and kill me even before I can see the map. And one biggest shame the loot box, you pay the game and you need to pay from 1 to 2,5 USD to buy a key for open the box you bought with the money you won while playing... come on keep this for a free to play not in a paid game... At the moment I would say if you are in the USA or in Europe and decide to buy this game be aware that the latency could be your eternal enemy^^ I'm waiting for a major update.

This is a great game. The only way to win is with 2 or more people on your team. Because most of the weapons are so poorly balanced. You don't have to worry about hackers buuut their servers are only in China so the ping is so bad you can't win.

Can we please get a stable American/ Western Server... $25 and cant even get past the enitial loading screen... The game looks awesome, make it more available to those who pay for it... thats marketing 101

Awesome concept, wish they could do more with the server issues, it's been awhile since the product has been released. Should have waited before buying. Games a little confusing with the translation of the instructions, to be expected though with the developer and publisher being Chinese. Running around felt fine, looting was sluggish, battle was impossible.
