If you like the base game, then you'll certainly enjoy Celestial Dawn as well. The new towers are fun to play with and have properties not seen before (such as the Little Ghost tower being able to be placed on spaces without tiles and the towers that can be placed directly on the main path). The new decks are also great, and combined with the new trinkets, fill a gap that the base game can feel lacking on (such as the Shield based deck and the Reroll related trinkets). The new tiles spice up the gameplay as well (especially the Nuke tile) but I'm a bit divided on the new maps. Most of them are great, but I can't say I'm a fan of any of the "word maps." It's probably just me, but they don't really fit in all that well compared to other maps. As for Survival mode? It's... alright. It's fun for a bit, but compared to regular campaign mode it's not as interesting. No unique events or as many choices to be made which is fine given it's supposed to be a short quick and done game mode, but I was pretty sad I couldn't do any Arcane Resonator shenanigans since both it and its related artifact were nowhere to be seen on any of my runs. But don't take that criticism too harshly, Celestial Dawn is certainly still worth it! Especially so if it's on sale like it currently is. The new decks, cards, and trinkets alone are worth it!
