The start menu is 10/10. The game play is simple but not terribly engaging. I don't know why this game has dailies or weekly challenges for that matter, but I appreciate it as a way to unlock additional content. It's probably not worth 25 dollars, but it runs smooth and the visuals are as high quality as they are surreal. It reminds me of those old trapper keepers from the 90s that had 3D CGI on them.

YU SUZUKI. That's why you should buy this game. If this is the iconic developer's final game in his life, it's a love letter to the fans and the game he made his arcade debut with and made him synonymous with Sega for decades-Space Harrier (okay, and countless others). I actually found this first on Apple Arcade but they removed it in May 2025 because it hadn't been updated in over 2 years (**** Apple for that) then I found it here so I immediately brought it. This version does the game justice and blows even the Apple TV 4K version away, if you've got a GPU that can handle it then it's going to look incredible. The soundtrack you'll either love or hate depending on your taste for Queen but it's a perfect fit here. The game is also deep with a lot of unlockables and extra game modes. It's a slower-paced Space Harrier so it's easier at first and also easy to pick up and play with either a controller or mouse. I'm biased as a fan of Suzuki's works but this, if it indeed is the curtain call of one of the most legendary developers in gaming history, is an epic finale. Money well spent for me! PS-make sure your GPU meets the recommended specs in the requirements. You'll need it!
