Chop Goblins

I had more fun with this game in 3 hours than any AAA title I played in the last year. The level designs remind me of early shooters of the 2000s like Turok and Serious Sam. Chop Goblins has a plethora of secrets that can be found scattered across each of the 5 levels containing powerful supplies to use against your enemies. If you don't find the secrets at first, your environment can provide explosive opportunities to take out groups of Goblins with a single well placed bullet. Combat in this game is fast and precise, there isn't much time you spend standing still. For my ADHD brain, I never had a moment of boredom. In all my time playing I could not personally find anything about this game that I did not like nor any part I did not enjoy. It is truly a 10/10 Indie gem. My only true complaint is that there hasn't been a second Chop Goblins game.

A fun. short, funny and perfect for kids first FPS (just turn of the blood and gore). This game is also fun to speedrun and compare high scores with your friends. The OST is bombing! Also there's no Jump Button, so you won't be bunnyhopping around like a mad Goblin. Speaking of Goblins... WHERE'S ALL THE CHEESE?!!? 🧀

playing this game has taught me the virtue of chopping goblins, before i was hesitant to chop a goblin but after playing this game i can safely travel my streets knowing i can chop a goblin with proficiency

Goblins yelling "Where is all the cheese?" while attacking me with utensils is exactly the kind of energy I need in a game. I don’t get it. I love it.

Quite funny and well done, catchy music and smooth gameplay.

Fun game, good replay value and variety. Takes ~4 and a half hours to 100%. Well worth the price.

Way more fun than it has any right to be. A pastiche of various 90s FPS full of secrets, health packs and absurdity. Great music and level design and a few laugh out loud moments. You can play through this in 2 hours and its well worth the price for that experience.

Unironically really good. Honestly, if it wasn't so short, I'd say it's one of the best FPS games ever.

Finishing this game once gave me the courage to beat my wifes boyfriend in arm wrestling. After playing this game on goblin difficulty + permadeath i made him MY boyfriend

My life was significantly inferior than to how it is today, about 87% because of this game.

Pure FPS fun for two hours. Even with the minimalist philosophy, you can tell this guy knows how these games work at their core. There's plenty of feature-rich FPS games with MUCH bigger budgets who don't get enemy placement as intuitively as this dev. Level design is the real highlight here. There isn't a save system so if you care about your score, beat it in one sitting.

Chopping goblins is a lovely pastime. I would recommend the chopping of goblins.

Many weapons have too low a rate of fire, and the enemies are monotonous.

Fun game that never takes itself too seriously, doesn't overstay it's welcome either :3
