There is superhero games, then there is BATMAN-ARKHAM series. Spider-man can never come close to the atmosphere of this game. Can't believe I slept on this game for 10 years but happy I get to experience peak gaming all new. WHEN ROCKSTEADY USED TO BE Bruce Wayne AND NOT Harley Quinn 🦇

Arkham Knight builds on everything that made the previous games great. The combat is smoother and more refined, the New Game Plus experience is vastly improved, and surprisingly the Riddler challenges don’t suck this time and I would say the reward for completing riddler challenge is sweet (yeah, that’s new). Even in 2025, the game holds up incredibly well. Visually, it still looks better than most AAA titles releasing today. The atmosphere of Gotham City is very well crafted and I didn't have no complaint about any of the gameplay related stuff. Sure the story is a bit weaker than Arkham City and the Dlcs are a hit or miss. But other than that I don't think any other Arkham game is a fun to play as Arkham knight. I know some people might disagree, especially when it comes to the Batmobile—there have been plenty of complaints about it being overused. But honestly, that criticism has never made sense to me, especially as someone who has completed all the Arkham games. Fans wanted the Batmobile, and when Rocksteady finally gave it to them, they started complaining? Come on. This also happens to be my first review as a Steam user, and I figured—why not review the first game I ever bought on Steam? For the record, I had already completed all the Arkham games before purchasing them here, and after buying them again, I went through Asylum again and 240%ed Arkham Knight again.
I am vengeance I am the night I am Batman

Best game i have ever played. The devs really know how to make you feel like a bad ass. The game looks absolutely gorgeous even by 2025 standards and it plays extremely well and responsive.

Replayed this for the first time in almost a decade and I worried it would feel dated but it didn't. While some never games might have the map beat in size they're typically filled with empty blocks of nothing, meanwhile it's amazing how alive Gotham feels and how many activities there are to do. I recommend this to everybody, if you weren't a Batman fan before you will be after playing this.

i loveee this game so muchh but there is some downsides tbh like why the hell is there so many collectables like its a ubisoft game i mean sometimes collectables are fun and all but i think its not fun when you trying to complete a 240 riddles for edward fucking nigma , despite all that its a very solid game even 10 years later

Batman: Arkham Knight Review – A Dark, Daring, and Definitive Finale Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5) Batman: Arkham Knight is the grand finale we deserved. Rocksteady brings its legendary Arkham trilogy to a spectacular close with a game that’s bigger, bolder, and more emotionally resonant than ever before. As someone who absolutely loved this game, I can say without hesitation—it’s a breathtaking ride from beginning to end. From the haunting opening to the final showdown, Arkham Knight is everything a Batman fan could want: explosive action, deep storytelling, meaningful character moments, and Gotham City brought to life like never before. Gotham Like You've Never Seen It This time, you get the entire Gotham City to patrol—and it is absolutely stunning. Rain-soaked streets, glowing neon signs, and sweeping rooftops make for the most atmospheric and visually striking Gotham in any game, ever. The level of detail is astonishing, and the city feels alive with crime, chaos, and tension. Gliding across the skyline or dive-bombing into a fight never gets old. Gotham is your playground, and you are its guardian. The Batmobile: A Controversial But Powerful Addition Let’s address the Bat-shaped elephant in the room: the Batmobile. Yes, it plays a huge role in Arkham Knight, and while some found it overused, I genuinely enjoyed it. Whether you're tearing through city streets in pursuit mode or shifting into the tank-like battle mode to fight drones, the Batmobile adds new layers to puzzles, traversal, and combat. It's not perfect—some sequences go a little long—but the sheer fun of calling your ride, watching it drift around a corner, and launching into the cockpit mid-sprint? Unmatched. It’s an aggressive design choice, but it fits the game’s larger-than-life tone. The Best Combat in the Series Rocksteady once again refines its signature combat system to near perfection. The fluid, freeflow fighting is faster, tighter, and more dynamic. New enemy types, dual-play takedowns with allies like Robin and Nightwing, and more gadget integration keep things fresh and endlessly satisfying. Predator encounters are also deeper and more creative. Enemies now adapt, setting traps and working together, forcing you to think tactically and strike with precision. You’re not just Batman—you feel like the most dangerous person in any room. A Gritty, Psychological Story The story is where Arkham Knight shines most. This isn’t just a tale of crimefighting—it’s a psychological descent into Batman’s mind. The Scarecrow serves as a terrifying primary villain, unleashing a fear toxin plot that pushes Gotham—and Bruce Wayne—to the brink. Then there’s the titular Arkham Knight, a mysterious new threat with a deeply personal grudge against Batman. While some fans predicted the Knight’s identity, the emotional payoff still lands hard. But the true standout is the internal presence of the Joker, brilliantly portrayed again by Mark Hamill. Even after death, he haunts Batman’s psyche, appearing in hallucinations that are equal parts chilling, hilarious, and tragic. This narrative device adds a unique, unforgettable twist to the story. Side Content and Extras Arkham Knight is packed with meaningful side missions—tracking down serial killers, stopping bank heists, and taking on iconic villains like Two-Face, Firefly, and the Riddler. There’s a ton of optional content, and completing it all isn’t just busywork—it unlocks the game’s true ending, which is 100% worth the effort. And let’s not forget the stunning character models, atmospheric soundtrack, and Kevin Conroy’s final performance as Batman—it’s powerful, layered, and genuinely emotional. Final Thoughts Batman: Arkham Knight is a love letter to Batman fans and a triumphant conclusion to one of gaming’s greatest trilogies. It’s ambitious, beautiful, and bold—pushing technical limits while diving deep into Bruce Wayne’s identity, fears, and legacy. Despite some minor pacing issues (mostly Batmobile-related), the experience as a whole is unforgettable. It’s the kind of game that sticks with you long after the credits roll. Pros: Gorgeous, richly detailed Gotham City Emotionally charged and compelling story Top-tier combat and stealth gameplay Powerful performances from Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill Meaningful side missions and a satisfying ending Cons: Some Batmobile sequences can feel overused A few story beats may feel predictable to longtime fans Verdict: Batman: Arkham Knight is a dark, thrilling, and emotional finale that delivers in almost every way. If you love Batman, this isn’t just a game—it’s an experience.

Arkham Knight is the darkest, biggest, and most ambitious entry in Rocksteady’s trilogy. It takes the foundation laid by Asylum and City, adds a visually stunning open-world Gotham, and aims to deliver the definitive Batman experience. In many ways, it succeeds - though it also stumbles in its reach. The game's story is a grim, cinematic descent into fear and identity. Bruce Wayne is more human here than ever before, and the narrative explores what it means to be Batman with surprising emotional weight. While the identity of the Arkham Knight may not come as a shock to longtime fans, the execution still delivers some powerful moments - especially when combined with Scarecrow’s psychological warfare and a brilliantly twisted performance from
the Joker
. Combat and predator gameplay remain top-tier, even years later. The rhythm of freeflow fights is tighter and more varied than ever, with new enemy types and tag-team takedowns adding fresh layers. Stealth sections are generous in their freedom, allowing for creative improvisation across dynamic environments. The Batmobile, however, is where the experience becomes more divisive. As a tool for traversal, it’s fast and responsive. As a puzzle-solving or tank-combat mechanic, it's overused and often forced into situations where it doesn't quite belong. It's not bad - just overpresent. That said, it still manages to deliver some thrilling set pieces and creative moments when used more sparingly. The city of Gotham is sprawling, moody, and dense with detail. Gliding across rooftops and responding to crimes in progress never gets old. Side missions range from great to forgettable. The Riddler challenges are, as expected, elaborate and plentiful. Completing all 243 is demanding but satisfying, especially if you’ve followed the series from the beginning.
The Knightfall Protocol
- the game’s true ending - only unlocks after 100% completion, and it's absolutely worth the effort. It brings closure not just to Arkham Knight, but to Rocksteady’s entire take on the character. Highlights: - A compelling and emotionally complex final chapter. - Visually stunning Gotham with unmatched atmosphere. - Rock-solid combat and stealth mechanics. - A complete Batman fantasy - gadgets, allies, detective work, and more. - Excellent voice acting and score, with standout performances across the board. Drawbacks: - Batmobile is overused, especially in repetitive tank battles. - Some side missions feel underdeveloped compared to others. - Story revelations are occasionally predictable but still well executed. Arkham Knight doesn’t reinvent the formula, but it expands and refines it at scale. As the capstone to a legendary trilogy, it’s bold, brooding, and unforgettable. For anyone who’s played Asylum and City, this is an essential final chapter - and a worthy farewell to the cowl. 10/10 – You either die a hero, or live long enough to glide-kick a militia goon through a rooftop window.

Playing Arkham Knight felt like the ultimate conclusion to a journey I’d been on for years. It’s Gotham’s biggest, most chaotic playground yet—and the stakes have never felt higher. But this game isn’t just about scale or flashy gadgets. It’s about what it means to be Batman when the walls close in and the past won’t stay buried. From the first moment I gripped the controller and hit the streets, the city blew me away. The level of detail and sheer size of Gotham is staggering. It’s alive, breathing, and crawling with danger on every corner. The addition of the Batmobile gave me mixed feelings at first—would it be just another vehicle to drive around? Nope. It became an extension of Batman himself: a tank, a weapon, and a high-speed escape machine all rolled into one. Driving through the streets, switching between racing and combat, was pure adrenaline and added a whole new layer to the gameplay. The free-flow combat system returned, sharper than ever. The fluidity between brawling and gadget use made me feel like the world’s greatest martial artist, even when surrounded by dozens of enemies. The added fear takedowns and predator challenges pushed my skills to new heights. Stealth sections were tense and rewarding, especially when stalking through massive enemy hideouts. It was that classic Batman cat-and-mouse feeling—only darker, and deadlier. The story is the heart of the game, and it’s a dark, twisting tale. The Arkham Knight himself was a mystery that kept me hooked—someone who knows Batman too well and wants to break him. But what stuck with me most was the psychological toll. The game delves into Bruce Wayne’s fears, regrets, and trauma in a way that feels raw and personal. The hallucinations, the nightmares, even the way the Joker lingers inside Batman’s mind—all these layers made the story more than just a crime thriller. It was a deeply emotional, sometimes unsettling journey. The cast delivers powerhouse performances. Kevin Conroy’s Batman is stoic but vulnerable. Mark Hamill’s Joker—though mostly a haunting presence—remains iconic and chilling. The music swells and fades perfectly, pushing the mood from brooding to explosive without missing a beat. Visually, Arkham Knight is stunning. Gotham is dark and gothic, dripping with rain and neon. The lighting effects alone make nighttime patrols unforgettable. The Batmobile combat, while innovative, sometimes overstayed its welcome. Some missions dragged, and the tank battles felt a bit repetitive. The open world, as gorgeous as it is, could occasionally feel crowded with fetch quests. Still, these moments didn’t overshadow the overall experience—more like bumps in a thrilling ride. Arkham Knight isn’t just the finale—it’s a weighty, personal goodbye to a Batman saga that defined a generation. It captures the hero’s strengths and flaws, the glory and the pain, with a boldness that stuck with me long after the credits rolled. If you’re ready to face Gotham’s darkest night, with all the power and doubt of the Bat, this game will pull you in and refuse to let go. A powerful, immersive end to an epic Batman journey. It’s not perfect, but it’s unforgettable. And for me, that’s exactly what Batman’s story deserves. Rating: 9/10

You play as the legendary Batman!! himself. He punches bad guys, glides across the city, and uses all kinds of gadgets. So intense and mysterious ~ full of twists and fear toxin nightmares. The combat? Fast, fluid, and fang-tastic! Pounce, parry, paw-punch — nya nya nya!! Enemies don’t stand a chance when I go full Cat-Knight! Stealth? Yes please~! I love creeping along the ceiling like a true stealthy neko, waiting to go "meow" and take down baddies. Rating: 4.8 out of 5 bat-shaped tuna cans! 🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟 (minus 0.2 for slightly too many tank battles… hiss~)

It's fun, it's one of the batman games, has a bit of replayability, lots of good stuff here. The biggest issue i have with the game is the bugs Lots of bugs, most minor and comical even, but occasionally a bigger one where you have to restart a challenge or a checkpoint, or try to fix it, all very annoying. I encountered 2 major bugs that have more or less caused me to uninstall and quit before finishing. First early on a bug when Batman summons the batmobile for the first time, even if you have a good computer, if you have certain settings like nvidia fog and paper movement, hard crashes on that scene unless you turn it off. Saw some complaints that happens in other cutscenes too so i just elected to keep them off. Not too major but still annoying that there's a whole option that just breaks cutscenes. The 2nd one which was the unfortunate last straw was during the sequence when you're in the studio hunting after the people Harley took. There's a section where you're forced to jump onto a perch to go around an enemy, however every time i did so i was thrown out of the map, and no amount of reloading or adjusting settings fixed it. Completely soft locked in a mandatory location doing a mandatory action. i'd refund it if i could since when gamebreaking bugs stop me from completeing the game i'd like my money back, but cest la vie. Good game otherwise, if bugs don't bother you i do reccomend it

Honestly, this might be the last good Batman game we will get for a long time. Its only a matter of time before they remaster it for $40 and sell it back to us for a quick profit. And you know what, I'd buy it still. But man oh man, was this game badly optimized when it launched, i remember it destroying my measly R7 260X. Graphics still hold up, and every superhero game since has copied this game's homework like it was due yesterday. Get it on sale, it gets discounted quite often.

Best Arkham game. Those complaining about Jason Todd being obvious(It was obvious from our point of view as we have read the books, but not obvious from Batman's POV as he thought Jason was dead) and Riddler puzzles being too hard(git good) are people who will complain just about anything. This is a 10/10 game. I love the Batmobile and its combat too.

Man I love this game. Grappling around got me feeling like spider man. Although Batman is much more of a badass. The free roam and combat system is brilliant.I love as we pass by miltia or thugs we get cool lines of dialouge that really flesh out the world. other than the hp UI that i find a bit hard to understand. This games pretty solid!

This is a very well built game. The quality, and graphics look very good since it was released back in 2015. I'm only 37% done with the campaign, and it's pretty nice. I suggest you should get it while it's on sale for usually 5 dollars, which is an incredible deal for a game like this. I also suggest using a controller, for a better experience.

I'm a big Batman fan I like to play Batman games. They're fun and badass with good stories. They never really disappoint especially the Arkham games. I played them on Playstation, Xbox, and now Steam. I wanted to get a Batman game on steam because I wanted to have at least one Batman game on my computer so I bought it on sale, but my computer can't efficiently run it even though it says I have the specs to run it on low graphical settings. Well it runs fine until I enter the batmobile and start driving around then it starts dropping frames. I'm not entirely convinced it's my side since I've read that this game runs a bit poorly on PC, but I'm am convinced enough to put the majority of blame on my PC and say it's a issue on my side. Do I recommend this game? Yes,, but only if you have specs that can run it better than low. Edit July 6 2025: After messing with some more settings on the game I was able to fix the Batmobile issue and by that I mean upping the Max Frames cause for some unknown reason it was on 30 and honestly I don't know why upping the Max Frames fixed it.

Wow. This game is a decade old, and is one of the best looking AAA games ever. The vibe of Gotham City is absolutely perfect, gloomy and rain-drenched, with buildings so tall they feel infinite when you're on the ground. Traversing around this city and making quick stops to beat some ass is a great time. My only complaint, as many others have said, is an over reliance on the Batmobile for mandatory missions. The tank battles in the Batmobile are boring at best, frustrating at worst. Driving the thing around the city like a car is amazing, and I loved the pursuit missions, but the tank stuff got old super fast. Still, one of the most immersive and best designed AAA open world games ever. And it goes on sale for dirt cheap. 9/10

This is the best worst Arkham game in the series, I've never had more fun in an Arkham game, I've never had less fun in an Arkham game. You'll feel like the Batman more than ever before but if you want to finish the game you have to 100% it including almost 300 riddler trophies. They put the batmobile in it and at first it's cool then they make you do stealth tank missions which just suck.

The best superhero game i will say , the way it provides all immersive open world i would say much better than spiderman-remastered, I would highly recommend well the boss fights are not that tough but the overall game did pretty well job delivering the story , twist and turns , surprises its a absolute cinema any batman fan will really love and if you are not into batman still you will love this game but before i recommend playing arkham asylum and arkham city first. After that you will notice how the combat being same as previous games but it feels fast paced and much more fun and will recommend wait for sale buy the bundle with all dlc.
