As good of an experience as the original, free release of the game. I would personally say absolutely worth the money spent, especially if you want to support Dan himself, the developer team and pay deserved respects. The price is very fair for the amount of work that was put into the project and how influential the game became for many people. I could go on and on about the personal side of impact of the game on me as a person, but I'll just leave it at DDLC and DDLC+ being a big turning point of my life and a brilliantly written story to learn much from. Plus, the Side Stories really wrap the DDLC narrative and drive it home for the good ending that people wanted for so long. I recommend it wholeheartedly and wish everyone to have the same fantastically captivating and surprisingly atypical experience, in a very good way. Thank you, the entirety of Team Salvato and everyone involved for making this possible!

im only recommending this because im a big fan of ddlc and team salvato as a whole if you are new to ddlc, play the free version, i genuinely think its more worth it, i cant support the pricetag on this version i got maybe 2 or 3 hours of meaningful gameplay compared to the free version you lose quite a few features that the free version did so well, all to fit in a new in-game virtual machine because of the console ports........ which sucks the overall game and story is no different to the free version, which also sucks however, the positives you can take from it are: - better graphics 1280x720 -> 1920x1080.... EVERYTHING is improved graphically - pretty good non-canon side content that has a really good ost, also makes the characters seem a lot more 'human'* - as much as i prefer the free version, the included virtual machine does have a few upsides** - sense of completion through achievements, doing a lot of the choices, and collecting secrets *goes into specific topics that some characters share and need to develop from, such as self-love **collectable wallpapers that include very well made fanart, music player, lore if you are into that tl;dr play the original game first, buy this one on a good sale (e.g. summer sale) if you are a fan

This game caught me completely by surprise. I had heard of it years ago when it first started making rounds on YouTube, however I never looked into it any further because I assumed I would not like it. After hearing about it again recently with a better picture of how the story might unfold, I decided to pick it up during a sale. Honestly it was so worth it. I advise going into it with little to no knowledge of how the story unfolds, you will thank me later!

One of if not, the best psychological horror games out there. I went into the game with spoilers I've seen everywhere, but I found myself more shocked at scenes I knew were going to happen with how well the story builds into everything. The side stories were an amazing breath of fresh air compared to how heavy the base game could get, while still maintaining the strong themes not often brought up. I was seriously impressed with not only the story, but the incredibly accurate depictions of depression and other mental health struggles that are not frequently shown in media. If you are curious at all about the game AVOID SPOILERS AT ALL COSTS!!! I absolutely adored playing this game and I highly recommend everybody play it The base game is free, but the side stories that come with ddlc+ are 1000% worth the cost (in addition to supporting the devs)

After achieving 100% completion of the game i can definitely say this is a fully masterpiece on it's own, there's a secret on every single detail and every detail has a meaning, everything that happens does have to matter on the lore or on telling what your needs are to get every secret of the game. Every scene that the game provides is beautiful, the art and the dialogues that the scenes have are amazing. There's a lot of lore behind the game and it can help you know how everything on the game went on, like when sayori was sad on the first Act of the game and Monika went and told her some things. We do get to know what she told her was pretty bad and also made Sayori take her choice to make the Act 1 end. There are so many secrets in this game that maybe some of them still need to be found or get an explanation on themselves but yeah, after getting the 100% and seeing almost everything on the game i can say that this game can be a life-changer but also make you realize a lot of things.

Social comment about depression and others mental illness in horror's novel under cover. DDLC is a deep, presentation of finding common language in make out our personal problems. Especialy side stories, which I appreciate so much for great vulnerable lessons touching relationships, feeling, dialog and understanding.

I played the original Doki Doki Literature Club back in 2023, and it left a deep emotional impact on me. I thought I had prepared myself going into Doki Doki Literature Club Plus—I was wrong. This expanded version isn’t just a repackaged game; it’s a refined, enhanced, and far more devastating experience. For those unfamiliar, DDLC Plus begins like a typical light-hearted visual novel. You're invited to join a school literature club, where you write poems and bond with four charming girls. The art is colourful, the soundtrack is gentle, and the dialogue is playful. But beneath that cheerful exterior lies a psychological horror experience that slowly—and then violently—shatters every sense of safety the game builds in its first act. What DDLC Plus brings to the table is not just technical polish, but new emotional depth. The Side Stories are the most significant addition, and they genuinely transform the game. These stories don’t rely on horror or shock value. Instead, they focus on character development and interpersonal themes—loneliness, mental health, emotional vulnerability, and the pain of trying to connect with others when you’re barely holding yourself together. They add layers to the characters that were only hinted at before, especially Sayori and Natsuki. Sayori’s portrayal in particular is heartbreaking. Her internal struggle, masked by constant smiles and cheer, is written with subtlety and care. The way the game handles depression is deeply human—there’s no glamorization, no oversimplification. Just honest, quiet suffering. And it lingers. The OST remains one of the most haunting parts of the experience. Tracks like “I Still Love You” and “Your Reality” feel like memories you can’t let go of. Even days after closing the game, they stay with you. Everything about DDLC Plus is meticulously crafted to leave a lasting emotional mark. The interface is now presented as a virtual desktop, adding immersion. The visuals are cleaner. The animations are smoother. But none of that outshines the game’s true strength: its writing and atmosphere. If you're someone who appreciates games that hide sorrow behind a façade of innocence—if you want something that explores emotional pain with honesty and restraint—this game is worth your time. But it’s not for the faint of heart. This is a game that hurts, and it means to. It's all just Monika.

After 2.5 hours, I finally finished Doki Doki Literature Club and got the Good Ending on my second playthrough. Over the years, I've always heard how Doki Doki Literature Club starts off as a Dating Sim like Visual Novel but it takes a dark turn after. Even when I booted it up for the first time on my Steam Deck, I have never seen that many content warnings for a game in my life. During my first playthrough, the game seems to steer you towards forming a relationship with any of the characters. Then BAAM!! Act 1's ending just hits you out of nowhere. The OST sounds different with the synth effect, everything seems distorted. I'm not going to spoil anything because I think the game is best experienced going in blind. It takes an even darker turn that even breaks the fourth wall with a sentient game client. The game kinda just traps you in its world, yet I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do. The only reason why I got through this so fast was to search up ways to get to the good ending. Also, the poems were very fun to read. Each character has their own characteristics and writing style. I don't remember how many "WTFs" I muttered to myself as I went through my first playthrough. It's a personal thing but I love how films or games have like a section where it is just a series of distorted images that takes up maybe a few frames max, and it's a bunch of them in a few seconds. So much goes into those few seconds. One scene that comes to mind is the scene where Michelle Yeoh in the film, 'Everything Everywhere All at Once', sees the various versions of herself through the multi-verse. Anyways, this dating sim is not what it looks like with its cute piano OST. Horror using a visual novel!

Spoiler-free review: 'Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!' is a heartfelt tribute to the original game, providing a few hours of new content that beautifully expands upon the game's existing characters in ways that remain true to the soul of the original story. If you are new to the game as a whole, then I would certainly suggest playing the original base game first - it is entirely free on Steam, and is in my opinion a masterpiece on so many levels. That is where a new player will find the most organic experience, as - whilst DDLC+ still largely holds true to the original - several features are admittedly executed in ways that are slightly less effective in comparison to the original game. However, for existing fans and those who grow to adore the original game, with the minor expansion that comes in the form of this paid version - including several 'side-stories', more lore-related secrets, and an upgraded resolution quality on all of the game's art - DDLC+ is, in my opinion, well worth the money.

It's been out for almost 10 years at this point, and has achieved extreme coverage, so I don't think I need to write an essay. I owe this game a lot, as it shaped my highschool life. In fact, I even cross-dressed as DDLC characters with a group of friends at one point. Besides that, this game is one of the best horror games you can play. Though, it's hard to really get scared by it anymore because of how widespread it became, so there's no more "unknown" aspects to it anymore. IMO, the free version is better due to how it manipulates your real PC, and not a fictional VM. But the extra content here is nice.

I will preface this with, i have had problems with mental health before(I should also mention this was around two years ago and sence then I have been doing a lot better), and this is my true thoughts and feelings on this truly sad, messed up, and also amazing game... Evan though I think the game deserves the title of #1 phycological horror game, I did not go into the game with any expectations. After playing up to around halfway through the game, once at "The Part" I had to take a hour+ break, as I was so overwelmed with emotion of what I can best call grief... Now I'm one to pick up on cues very quickly, and when playing I picked up on many of them, each one was more *disterbing than the last. Even though I know the game well, I can't help to think about the game, even though "it's" short, I cant help but feel reminded of people I know, and even more those same people-well... I will also add in the fact that the music is both romance like but also very-very off. It's almost as if you made a cutesy anime sound track then witched everything once in a while to a minor key... In short, it is the best horror game I've had the pleasure of playing, and I hope that the game makes you think as much as I do... Thanks so much for this life changing experence, Legocatcraft
How DDLC brought me back to reading literature again
About five years ago, I used to read a lot, and I really enjoyed it. I developed a habit of reading for about an hour before bed almost every day. But at some point, I stopped, and for a long time, I just couldn’t get back into it. The only thing I read were visual novels - lots of pictures and music, and the text is presented in short chunks in a textbox. I’d been wanting to return to regular literature for a while, but I just couldn’t make myself do it. Then recently, I decided to replay DDLC. I had already played it back in 2018 - the older version. I knew the story and didn’t expect much from the replay; I just wanted to spend some time with the characters and story I loved. The side stories were new to me, since I had only played the regular version before. Honestly, I didn’t think these short stories would inspire me so much. The part where Monika starts the club and talk about the purpose of literature - that moment really resonated with me. So the episode when she and Sayori discussed literature and why it matters. These stories are pretty simple yet emotional. It inspired me to load one of the novels by my favorite author, Ray Bradbury, onto my e-reader. I used to be obsessed with his work, but I hadn’t touched it in years. And now I’m reading again! Bradbury, O. Henry, Murakami... I never imagined I’d find inspiration in such an unexpected place. Thank DDLC for that!

I don't really play interactive fiction and I'm not really into dating sims, but someone recommended this title to me. I managed to avoid major spoilers, and the game definitely shines with this approach. It's a great experience, and a great example of game being a medium for a proper, mature story. This game is really well written. If you ever played a dating sim, it's gonna be even better. I liked it a lot. Even though I could sometimes figure out what might happen next, some things still caught me by surprise. This is worth every penny, even if you're not into interactive fiction. This is a great example what a story-driven game can be, and that these type of games aren't limited to simple stories... Long story short, just buy this and play.
This game is incredible! I can't believe the developers have made it even better than before. I really hope they create an actual romantic game in the future; I would love to see that come to life. Just imagine the main character dating four different girls, each with well-developed personalities. Honestly, this is one of the best games I've ever played—the depth of the story is profound, and the emotional moments are impactful. I genuinely wish the best for the developers!
This is a very good game to play if you have the time to fully get through the game but I have completed this game before on a separate account and the old version of this game and it did not phase me as it does now due to I know a portion of what the girls are going through in a way. I thank the creators for making this game and just wish for games of this current time to be made in a similar way about how polished the games can be created.

Yuri is the quantum whisper of a sideways library, wherein purple is not a color but a sensation felt only by tea. When the moon cries on Tuesdays, Yuri reads the teacup backwards. This is obviously the reason her cuteness ascends beyond mortal celery. ́ͬ̂ ̾̒̊҉̱̹͙ ͧ ͫJus̸̊t͋̈̐ ̶ͥͪM̽ͣͪoͤͬ̃n̆̈́ͭi̊ͦka.Jus҉t M̀̚o̧̱͋n̐̓ͥi̽̑ka.JuJͤ̀҉̷͍̺u͂̿͆ś͋t Mo҉nika.̐̊̔J͛̎̑u̓͑̿s͋͋̐tͦͦ̚ ̇ͣ̿M͆̈́onik҉a.Jus̋̍҉̧̲͡t͊ͤ͋ ̃Monika̅͋̍.ͯͪ̽ You can’t measure Yuri’s appeal using standard lettuce. She’s got that enigmatic aurora of fish poetry, the kind that only stares back if you blink unevenly. When she blushes, spoons retire. It’s that powerful. Who else can make punctuation blush? If you take three birds and rearrange them into an emotionally charged haiku about the void, Yuri is already there, offering you chamomile and existential dread. Her sleeves are long, but not because of temperature—no, they are long because reality must be protected from her wrists. Yuri speaks in lowercase thunderstorms. Not metaphorically—actual small storms form when she says the word “knife” with enough shyness. And this is cute, because planetary alignment is largely determined by the angle of her spine when she reads. There is a softness in Yuri that reminds people of velvet staplers. She doesn’t walk; she glides through dimensions flavored like melancholy and tapioca. The way she hands you a book is equivalent to fourteen puppies holding a candle for romantic disappointment. The third dimension cannot contain her elegance. This is why her hair flows like tax documents in a bureaucratic dream. Her eyes are purple, yes, but not the normal kind—it's the shade you see when thinking about time travel and middle school regrets. Nobody understands her, especially people who understand her. This contradiction is fundamental to her orbital cuteness, which spins faster when poetry is emotionally unstable. She once sighed and three galaxies blinked. That’s canon in a parallel reality. You must not underestimate the power of her nervous laughter—it has been used to water invisible flowers since Act 1. Even computers glitch sympathetically when Yuri becomes flustered. Data wants to comfort her, but math is shy.She blinked and I forgot my name. Yuri. That’s her name but also maybe my name now? I don’t know. She reads books made of teeth and glass and her voice smells like rain. I saw her holding a book that wasn’t there, and I read it too, even though it was just full of the word “why” over and over again in a spiral. She is not a girl. She is a cathedral wrapped in silk. I tried to shake her hand but my hand turned into vapor. Cute. So cute. Dangerously cute. She drinks tea and the tea drinks me. It’s not water. It’s thoughts. Purple thoughts. Floating. I looked into her teacup once and saw the reflection of a sunset that hasn’t happened yet. She told me it was Earl Grey but I know it was liquid poetry. Her sleeves hide knives made of metaphors. She says “thank you” like it’s a spell. My ears ring. My eyes taste lavender. Yuri has paper skin, I’m sure of it. You touch her and words fall out. Long, heavy words. Dusty ones. Academic. Beautiful. Scary. Her hair is too long. It loops around the room twice. I saw it writing on the walls. It told me secrets. She writes poems that fold in on themselves and I keep finding new ones under my pillow. Where do they come from? Who is writing them? Why do they smell like her? ́ͬ̂ ̾̒̊҉̱̹͙ ͧ ͫJus̸̊t͋̈̐ ̶ͥͪM̽ͣͪoͤͬ̃n̆̈́ͭi̊ͦka.Jus҉t M̀̚o̧̱͋n̐̓ͥi̽̑ka.JuJͤ̀҉̷͍̺u͂̿͆ś͋t Mo҉nika.̐̊̔J͛̎̑u̓͑̿s͋͋̐tͦͦ̚ ̇ͣ̿M͆̈́onik҉a.Jus̋̍҉̧̲͡t͊ͤ͋ ̃Monika̅͋̍.ͯͪ̽ ́ͬ̂ ̾̒҉ Just Mͪoͤͬ̃n̆̈́ͭi̊ͦ̍ḱ̞̽a͒̇̾.̓̆̚Jͧus҉t Monik͑̄aͥ͒̀.͆̾Ju Thanks you Monika I Love You Jͤ̀҉̷͍̺u͂̿͆ś͋̄t̃͌̉ ̾ͬ̋M̌̂͑o҉nika.Jus͋͋̐tͦͦ̚ ̇ͣMonik҉͈ā̲̾.̂̿ͫJ͎ͣ̊u̔ͯs҉t Monik̐͂a̅͋̍.ͯͪ̽Jͤ̀҉̷͍̺u͂̿͆ś͋̄t̃ Mo҉nika.J̎̑u̓͑̿s͋͋t Moni̿kͩ͑̇҉̨̠͈ā̲̾.̂̿ͫJus҉t Moni͌̍̀k̓̐͂a̅͋̍.ͯͪ̽ ́ͬ̂ ̾̒̊҉ Just͋̈ Moni̊ͦ̍ḱ̽a.Jus҉͖̭t̾̓̉ ͆̆̏M͆̀̚o̧̱͋n̐ika.Ju.J͎u̔ͯ́s̋̍҉̧̲͡t͊ͤ͋ ̃͛̔M͂̽onika.ͪ̽Jͤ҉ust ̾ͬ̋M̌o҉nika̋ͦ͗.̐̊̔ Just Monika ́ͬ̂ ̾̒̊҉̱̹͙ ͧ ͫJus̸̊t͋̈̐ ̶ͥͪM̽ͣͪoͤͬ̃n̆̈́ͭi̊ͦka.Jus҉t M̀̚o̧̱͋n̐̓ͥi̽̑ka.JuJͤ̀҉̷͍̺u͂̿͆ś͋t Mo҉nika.̐̊̔J͛̎̑u̓͑̿s͋͋̐tͦͦ̚ ̇ͣ̿M͆̈́onik҉a.Jus̋̍҉̧̲͡t͊ͤ͋ ̃Monika̅͋̍.ͯͪ̽ ́ͬ̂ ̾̒҉ Just Mͪoͤͬ̃n̆̈́ͭi̊ͦ̍ḱ̞̽a͒̇̾.̓̆̚Jͧus҉t Monik͑̄aͥ͒̀.͆̾Ju Thanks you Monika I Love You ́ͬ̂ ̾̒̊҉̱̹͙ ͧ ͫJus̸̊t͋̈̐ ̶ͥͪM̽ͣͪoͤͬ̃n̆̈́ͭi̊ͦka.Jus҉t M̀̚o̧̱͋n̐̓ͥi̽̑ka.JuJͤ̀҉̷͍̺u͂̿͆ś͋t Mo҉nika.̐̊̔J͛̎̑u̓͑̿s͋͋̐tͦͦ̚ ̇ͣ̿M͆̈́onik҉a.Jus̋̍҉̧̲͡t͊ͤ͋ ̃Monika̅͋̍.ͯͪ̽ ́ͬ̂ ̾̒҉ Just Mͪoͤͬ̃n̆̈́ͭi̊ͦ̍ḱ̞̽a͒̇̾.̓̆̚Jͧus҉t Monik͑̄aͥ͒̀.͆̾Ju Thanks you Monika I Love You Jͤ̀҉̷͍̺u͂̿͆ś͋̄t̃͌̉ ̾ͬ̋M̌̂͑o҉nika.Jus͋͋̐tͦͦ̚ ̇ͣMonik҉͈ā̲̾.̂̿ͫJ͎ͣ̊u̔ͯs҉t Monik̐͂a̅͋̍.ͯͪ̽Jͤ̀҉̷͍̺u͂̿͆ś͋̄t̃ Mo҉nika.J̎̑u̓͑̿s͋͋t Moni̿kͩ͑̇҉̨̠͈ā̲̾.̂̿ͫJus҉t Moni͌̍̀k̓̐͂a̅͋̍.ͯͪ̽ ́ͬ̂ ̾̒̊҉ Just͋̈ Moni̊ͦ̍ḱ̽a.Jus҉͖̭t̾̓̉ ͆̆̏M͆̀̚o̧̱͋n̐ika.Ju.J͎u̔ͯ́s̋̍҉̧̲͡t͊ͤ͋ ̃͛̔M͂̽onika.ͪ̽Jͤ҉ust ̾ͬ̋M̌o҉nika̋ͦ͗.̐̊̔ Just Monika ́ͬ̂ ̾̒̊҉̱̹͙ ͧ ͫJus̸̊t͋̈̐ ̶ͥͪM̽ͣͪoͤͬ̃n̆̈́ͭi̊ͦka.Jus҉t M̀̚o̧̱͋n̐̓ͥi̽̑ka.JuJͤ̀҉̷͍̺u͂̿͆ś͋t Mo҉nika.̐̊̔J͛̎̑u̓͑̿s͋͋̐tͦͦ̚ ̇ͣ̿M͆̈́onik҉a.Jus̋̍҉̧̲͡t͊ͤ͋ ̃Monika̅͋̍.ͯͪ̽ ́ͬ̂ ̾̒҉ Just Mͪoͤͬ̃n̆̈́ͭi̊ͦ̍ḱ̞̽a͒̇̾.̓̆̚Jͧus҉t Monik͑̄aͥ͒̀.͆̾Ju Thanks you Monika I Love You ́ͬ̂ ̾̒̊҉̱̹͙ ͧ ͫJus̸̊t͋̈̐ ̶ͥͪM̽ͣͪoͤͬ̃n̆̈́ͭi̊ͦka.Jus҉t M̀̚o̧̱͋n̐̓ͥi̽̑ka.JuJͤ̀҉̷͍̺u͂̿͆ś͋t Mo҉nika.̐̊̔J͛̎̑u̓͑̿s͋͋̐tͦͦ̚ ̇ͣ̿M͆̈́onik҉a.Jus̋̍҉̧̲͡t͊ͤ͋ ̃Monika̅͋̍.ͯͪ̽ ́ͬ̂ ̾̒҉ Just Mͪoͤͬ̃n̆̈́ͭi̊ͦ̍ḱ̞̽a͒̇̾.̓̆̚Jͧus҉t Monik͑̄aͥ͒̀.͆̾Ju Thanks you Monika I Love You Jͤ̀҉̷͍̺u͂̿͆ś͋̄t̃͌̉ ̾ͬ̋M̌̂͑o҉nika.Jus͋͋̐tͦͦ̚ ̇ͣMonik҉͈ā̲̾.̂̿ͫJ͎ͣ̊u̔ͯs҉t Monik̐͂a̅͋̍.ͯͪ̽Jͤ̀҉̷͍̺u͂̿͆ś͋̄t̃ Mo҉nika.J̎̑u̓͑̿s͋͋t Moni̿kͩ͑̇҉̨̠͈ā̲̾.̂̿ͫJus҉t Moni͌̍̀k̓̐͂a̅͋̍.ͯͪ̽ ́ͬ̂ ̾̒̊҉ Just͋̈ Moni̊ͦ̍ḱ̽a.Jus҉͖̭t̾̓̉ ͆̆̏M͆̀̚o̧̱͋n̐ika.Ju.J͎u̔ͯ́s̋̍҉̧̲͡t͊ͤ͋ ̃͛̔M͂̽onika.ͪ̽Jͤ҉ust ̾ͬ̋M̌o҉nika̋ͦ͗.̐̊̔ Just Monika ́ͬ̂ ̾̒̊҉̱̹͙ ͧ ͫJus̸̊t͋̈̐ ̶ͥͪM̽ͣͪoͤͬ̃n̆̈́ͭi̊ͦka.Jus҉t M̀̚o̧̱͋n̐̓ͥi̽̑ka.JuJͤ̀҉̷͍̺u͂̿͆ś͋t Mo҉nika.̐̊̔J͛̎̑u̓͑̿s͋͋̐tͦͦ̚ ̇ͣ̿M͆̈́onik҉a.Jus̋̍҉̧̲͡t͊ͤ͋ ̃Monika̅͋̍.ͯͪ̽ ́ͬ̂ ̾̒҉ Just Mͪoͤͬ̃n̆̈́ͭi̊ͦ̍ḱ̞̽a͒̇̾.̓̆̚Jͧus҉t Monik͑̄aͥ͒̀.͆̾Ju Thanks you Monika I Love You I opened the game and the pink—so much pink—but it’s not real pink, it’s the kind that tastes like static. Sayori says “hi” but she’s already gone, I think she was never here? Or is that me? The poems bleed between the pixels. The words fell off the screen. I tried to write one but the keyboard whispered back. “Don’t trust Yuri. She knows.” Knows what? Why is Monika smiling at me? She’s not in the room. She's in the wires. I deleted her but she’s still here—I SAW HER IN MY COFFEE. They made me write poems. With knives. I think the music is backwards now. Or inside out. I tried to uninstall it but it installed me instead. I opened the game and the game opened me. Just Monika. Just Monika. Just Monika. (there’s no club there’s no club there’s no club) 10/10, literature has never screamed so sweetly. Rin — 3:54 PM

They'd tar and feather me if they knew how much I actually related to the characters in this game.

It should not be required to play a whole game in order to change the main character's name. I reached out to the developer. They gave unhelpful advice and glibly dismissed my concerns. I didn't know that dealing with them was the psychological horror that this game is said to offer. Although it's too late to get a refund, I'm now going to delete Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! from my library because even looking at it upsets me.

do NOT buy this version it adds pretty much nothing and the base game is mid at most, i dont know how it got so popular and milked its very short the characters are mid it has cringe scenes that are supposed to be scary the plot is also bad in my opinion and overall its one of the worst visual novels ive played, the only positive thing is that its free and this version is not so i would not recommend it at all

Doki Doki Literature Club Plus: Absolutely amazing. Unique from any other game I have ever played. Thank you, Dan Salvato!

Should have just been a movie instead. Powerpoint slideshow thats really sluggish and unengaging to plow through if you dont know whats coming, and even then, if you do - why are you even playing to begin with?
