Pretty fun, with one BIG caveat. The controller deadzone feature in this game has a bug where it drastically decreases your diagonal movement speed. Reduce it to zero to make the game control much more smoothly. For the actual review: It took me some time to get used to the more slow-paced design of this game. You will be disappointed if you expect to be able to zoom around like you're playing Mario Odyssey or something. The challenge in this title comes from the precision it requires. There are a lot of small platforms, and tall heights that require a lot of patience. Once I understood what the game wanted from me I ended up liking it a lot more than when I first started. I recommend unlocking the "Winged Demon" and "Updraft" abilities ASAP, because they significantly open up your movement options.

While this game has a lot of heart, it has absolutely no sauce. Beebz feels about as flat as she looks, none of her moves or attacks have any feedback or impact. The gameplay is frustrating, demanding you just intuit how hard the next segment is going to be, since it's up to you to place your own checkpoints. I got to world 3 and I just had to stop. I hope the sequel is much better, there's clearly a LOT OF LOVE put into this game. I just wish there was more than that. Also I'm sorry but why do the NPCs look so jarringly different from the rest of the art. What the heck happened there?

I straight up just do not like this game. I have nothing to say about it. I feel miserable playing it and i'd rather spend my time elsewhere. The sequel game looks cool but if it feels like this one then i'm out

(don't get irritated by my play time, my laptop sucks so i continued on my switch) This game has been out for a time, so here are mainly my hopes for the sequel: - Keeping the possibility to wall-jump on straigt up everything - improving the visual input (i failed multiple times on the first boss because i always thought that my hook wasn't connecting in the last phase) - improved animation, judging by the trailer/teaser Don't get irritaed by the 2D Sprites. You will get used to it fast and have your shadow always visible
