Unless you are buying this as a gift to the Dev team don't recommend, pistol is worse than the basic energy weapon you get at the start of the game (main game is great though)

Only if you want to support Devs I got it on sale The Boots are fine - better than the issued ones The Gun has a few good points - Precision +5 larger magazine high critical (+600%) BUT Low base damage 4-8 makes it almost useless Edit: Just noticed - If you equip this in your backup weapon slot Primary weapon still get's the +5 Precision (accuracy) buff - this can be useful

Doesn't work on Linux version. If you have a Steam Deck or play on Linux, then only take it if you want to help the developers for some reason

Even on sale I do not recommend buying this DLC because the items did not actually show up in the game.

At first glance, Encased is a marvel in the making. Then you start to move through the world, and discover that functionality and features have been prioritised to enhance the 'shop front' for an early access game. The devs have stated that they are following their own take on an 'agile' delivery, with no coherent delivery map of features or functionality. Indeed, at the moment, they are sprucing up the opening scenes to presumably cut back on requested refunds through steam. So if you want early access with a MASSIVE emphasis on early, AND you enjoy long odds on investments paying dividends, then this is the game for you.
