It's fun for a minute, but the lack of being able to pick which bro you're going to use coupled with the game constantly picking the worst two or three over and over again gets real old, real fast.

dumb fun running shooting and blowing stuff up with my friends never gets old every level is pure madness and laughs, 1.. 2.. 3.... goGOGOGO

This is one of the most fun side scrolling action shooters. Solo or with friends, this game is a gem. Nothing but bonus fun if you enjoyed 80s and 90s action films, or grew up with a Nintendo or Sega.

Funny. Over the top. Pretty challenging at times. Wouldnt recommend to hunt achievements in.

Simple fun and a great tribute to action films, but (possible skill issue) some parts were incredibly frustrating

I've been playing this since it was a browser game. I would have funny suggesting action characters that could be in it. The environmental destruction manages to be more of a puzzle platformer at times rather than an action game, which gives you a variety of ways to approach a situation. The game's humor is based around a romanticized jingoism of the 1980s, so it's not anything you can take seriously, but that's a good thing. My only complaint is some of the earlier Bros you have such as Rambro and B.A. Broracus are pretty useless in the late game because of how simple and weak they are.

One of my brothers recommended this game and we got it to have something to play while having some drinks. Fun from start to finish, simple and fun. Hands down recommended!

Fantastic coop destruction game; the gameplay is long, and the game is really fun alone or with friends. I LOVE IT 10\10

Super fun, love the fact it has local coop and love to play it when I have is just 15-20 minutes to play something. The amount of characters/abilities it has, plus all the maps created by the community give it a lot of replay value!

This review is a decade late, but I have replayed the game recently on Switch and it's still a hilariously over the top tribute to 80's action movies. It is, appropriately enough, 80% off at the time of this review, so yes, recommended!

This game would be fun if it allowed you to play chaotically but limited lives and one hit deaths makes it unfun. A lot of the times i found myself just running past or digging past enemies. Being forced to switch to terrible melee characters felt terrible, especially during some levels and boss fights. The last stage just goes on and on and on and on and on. I don't understand why some developers love making the end stages long. it doesn't make it feel epic, just tedious.

With one trick, u can easily get the last three achievements, it's really very hard :)

Honestly i'm on the fence. ITs cool.. but when i played online with a friend we ran into lots of syncing issues and unfairness. I remember the title card would play for a boss... WHILE the boss was killing us. So we couldn't move, but the scene was sitll playing and we were getting killed... Little things like that made me... not wanna play again.

The earth is 4.6 billion years old and we managed to exist at the same time as this masterpiece.

Frustrating from the very first minute to the 15th (and the last, at least for me). Cute graphics, music, and sound effects. The idea and humor might actually work if it weren’t for the chaotic mess: random hero switching, instant death from anything you cross paths with... Phew, maybe I’m just too old — or not ADHD enough — for this erratic, frenetic piece of confusion. Uninstalling took less time than the first explosion. Never again.

My son and I play this together. I lost track of the times we beat the game, but we laugh throughout each time. Sometimes we play multiplayer or ramp up the difficulty. We've played a lot of the player made maps - some of those are better than the original game! Play this game. Then tell you friends to play this game. Then play this game with your friends. And if you haven't played this game with your friends, are they really your friends?

don't know if I love this game or just love playing it in 10-minute bursts on my Steam Deck right before I go sleep. doesn't matter, love me some tasty tongue-in-cheek propaganda.

Its the only game that can make a non American feel like a true red blooded freedom-spreading patriot of the US of A. Its extremely fun, I replay it every now and then when I get that FREEDOM itch.

One of the games from my childhood, and it's honestly just as good as I remember it. It's witty, funny, and delivers excellently! Don't let the graphics trick you into thinking this game is $hit, it's not. In 2025, it still gives you that unique and exciting feel when you first play the game.
