SteamWorld Heist

I really enjoyed Steamworld Dig 1 and 2 so I wanted to try every game from this dev. But after a few hrs the gameplay boggled down to: step into the same looking area, hide behind the same looking trash bin, shoot gun. I just need more than that even if it's a tactical game.

Very good game! Nothing bad to say about it at all! 5/5 Stars from me. Worth it at original price. Finished in 12.1 hours. Encountered no bugs and no crashes. Played on high settings at 1920/1080P at stable 60 fps. Acer Nitro 15V gaming laptop with Ryzen 7, Geforce RTX 4060, 32 GB ram, SSD and Xbox One Controller.

The best franchise. The game is great but feels a little archaic but still a great game

this is my second time playing the game, the first time was on my 3DS. the game is just as incredibly fun as I remember it being, and it remains one of my favorite games in its genre to this day. Also music by steam powered giraffe is FANTASTIC.

2d Xcom. Charming and fun, with a decent challenge curve. Family friendly game. The boys love it. I love it.

Feels like a hybrid of side-scroller XCOM with a fun aim/bullet-bounce physics mechanic, it's actually pretty hard, too. You gotta one-shot missions, or lose and get punished (on higher difficulties) and your fallen mates get no XP. So be warned if you love the comfort of reloading and min-maxing, this is a make the best out of it game and I love it! Will probably buy the Part 2 on sale before I even finish the 1st one :D

If you played the Worms-like games on Flash websites as a kid and like steampunk, buy this game. Piper's crew is one of my favorite rag-tag teams in video games and getting them through each level on their adventure from smugglers to heroes is such a good time. The mechanics feel smooth, and there's a wide variety of weapons and utility items to find and experiment with. Have a space fairing adventure with our fearless heroes! Plus you can shoot peoples' hats off and take them for your own, and TF2 proved how much people love hats.
