I really enjoy this game! It's kinda stressful but very fun to play with my friends!

It's an excellent game to play with a partner. Communication is key if you want to get to the higher levels. Overall its a very nice but sometimes frustrating experience. Once you get the hang of it you won't get tired of shouting like a deranged chef.

Bought this for the wife as she is a big fan of the original game which I have not actually played myself. However, I can confirm that Overcooked 2 is a lot of fun for two people but unfortunately, the developers rely far too much on frustrating game mechanics such as fires that block your path or moving platforms to increase the difficulty rather than introducing more complex recipes. The game is fun until everyone rage-quits from frustration which is why I strongly recommend you play it with someone that won't make you sleep on the couch after you knock them off the cooking platform a few times ;D

too much lagging. server oftenly down, it makes the second player often delayed

if you're into degradation and getting knocked into acid with a fully completed dish because your friend decided it'd be funny to chuck a piece of chocolate at your head while you are crossing a thin bridge, this game is for you. if you fear developing homicidal tendencies, losing every shred of your patience and sanity, and ending up with no friends, this game is not for you. 10/10, would subject myself to this torture again

a VERY fun game but only if you play with a friend or 2, also some of the achivments require you to buy some DLC's, and to 100% thw game you need to buy all of the DLC's so i reccomend buying the pack of all the DLC's when there is a summer/spring/winter sale

even though most of my hours are idling (prob like 10 hours idling) this is an amazing multiplayer game with friends locally.

I HATE IT! it doesnt have crossplay from steam onto ps5 or xbox, REALLY ANNOYING!! i cant play with my console friends. Ur basically telling me to spend MORE money on "All you can eat" JUST for crossplay? TERRIBLE!! i do not recommend.

Look I'm sure this game is fun if I was to put in more hours into it. But i can't stand this game feels to annoying. the whole throwing stuff just feel frustrating and everything just getting in your way. Some levels are just a nightmare and headache to play. I tried play with my friend but I just could not get into it. If i was to much more hour again maybe I would like it, but as of right now I just cant

This game is hilarious and fun if not a unique concept. However, it can bring out your savage side if you're trying to 100 percent the game. Tell your friends to lock in and grow a spine because someone is inevitably going to put a tomato on a plain cheeseburger and screw the team. The achievements absolutely suck. Whoever thought 300 buckets of coal into the furnace was a good idea obviously didn't try it for themselves. It felt like they just picked random numbers in the hundreds for the achievements. Summary: get it to play with friends, be prepared for carpal tunnel if you go for achievements.

This game is a great litmus test for relationships, including familial, romantic and platonic. If you can manage to communicate effectively so that you do not curse each other out and give each other the silent treatment for the next hours to days, then you know you've got a good base of friendship. Would recommend, if only for a few hours at a time so that my brain doesn't turn to liquid.

It's fun to play with multiple people, as it can get pretty crazy and fast! Overall, a great game!

This game is chaotic, fun, stressful, time pressure, especially with friends. More friends mean more fun but one thing this game helped me realized is that my friends are slowly revealing their true colors. And their true colors mean being a "Gamethrower". I highly recommend this game. Its fun! Also whoever throws the game so much, so hard and non-stop deserves to be called and awarded "Certified Gamethrower".

The game is unnecessarily difficult at times and doesn't really give any sense of reward after completing a section of the game, even Microsoft word has better story progression. Bought the game to have fun with the family as it rides on the multiplayer function, but just ended up getting frustrated because of the eventual high expectations to pass levels. Great game to buy after you completed Dark Souls and looking for the next Souls type thriller.

Overcooked 2 didn’t change my mind either — it’s still not for me. Even with new mechanics and online play, the core gameplay remains just as chaotic and overwhelming as the first one. It feels like the game is designed to create stress rather than fun, especially if you're not playing with perfectly coordinated teammates. The levels get frustrating quickly, and instead of laughing, I often ended up annoyed. It might be fun for some, but if you're not into constant pressure and shouting over who’s chopping what, this sequel won’t win you over.

It's a great game, but that gets completely destroyed by the stupid controls that are unusable. If you bind [space] as a button to dash, you can not exit the menu anymore, because it is then bound to reset the game, so you get stuck in a loop forever. Also, to not have to option to use [enter] as a way to confirm something in the menu is insane; almost EVERY game EVER you can confirm in menu's by using Enter, I keep hitting it... but you need [space] to continue and can't change it. WHY?! And why can't I bind buttons like [Caps Lock]?! Let me do that! This makes the game extremely frustrating to me, wish the devs would fix that.

Absolutely recommended to play with your significant other or just a group of friends! A must try really addictive bonding game! First tried this game on nintendo switch console and absolutely loved it!

Very fun co-op game. Seems chill, but if you're going for 3 out of 3 stars, it quickly becomes extremely fast-paced and chaotic.

What an awesome game. It is fast paced, rounds are short, COOP is a blast and fun factor is very high! I recommend buying it and throwing a party with your friends. 4 players are supported and are on the same screen (not split).

Its fun with or without friends. The only downsides are that there's no voice chat on PC, while consoles do have it, and there's no crossplay between consoles. The best game mode is definitely Arcade, you can always find people to play with there

Overcooked! 2 – aka Divorce Simulator, lol! Seriously though, it’s a blast. Yeah, those later levels demand a full crew of 4 for that perfect three-star run. But honestly? It’s an essential couch co-op game for any household. Pure chaos, pure fun.

Overcooked! 2 is one of the best party games out there. It’s a perfect mix of strategy, timing, and complete madness. Whether you're yelling at your teammate to pass the rice or frantically putting out a kitchen fire, the game guarantees laughter and excitement. Just be prepared your kitchen might not be the only thing that gets heated.

Don't have time to write a review because ingredients need to be chopped, a pan is burning and now the kitchen's on fire, there's dishes in the sink to wash and one of the chefs has fallen into the abyss. 10/10 - would clock in and lock in again.

Annoying. Difficult curve is very high since the beginning. I played Overcooked 1 with my daughter a couple years ago, we had fun and almost completed the game (I did last levels with my wife) I just can't imagine playing this game with my daughter, not even the first or second stage. There are too many environment changes, the tension is high in the very first levels and quickness is much more ncessary. Yeah, my wife and I managed to complete the main story achieving 3 stars in almost all levels, but focusing in concentration and try harding, at the expense of pure fun... not sure if the deal deserves it. The biggest problem is, some scenarios are too random, and the ones that flood are just not even a little funny. First game curve is better done, and one can really enjoy the game, although it gets difficult enough to get "mad" in last stages (I hate the space levels, crazy) We haven't tried the DLCs yet, but if they are as demanding as the main story, I think we aren't playing much more. I'm not saying the game is bad, and that's why I give it thumbs up... but it's not definetly as "familiar" as the first one was, and that's a big downside.

I crashed out so much I started to sound like Gordon Ramsey, 10/10. Play if you wanna break up with your partner <3
