When i was in the prison i became a master musician and then was beaten to death by 3 big burly men, then I got released and played this game, and it's pretty good

Only fun in multiplayer but nobody really plays this game but im not hateful

I played it with a friend, it is very funny if you have friends, alone it can be pretty boring, but it is still good though. I sometimes dropped the soap, it hurted a bit

Fun game to play. Creative escapes. Much better graphics than the first game. Crafting was kinda weak with most of them are useless. DLC prison does not shown inmates note in the map eventhough there are for some reason.

Peak game, i remember myself playing this on my cellphone back in the day, very nostalgic but nowadays just keeps getting me entertained, even tho im not someone who plays these games much without friends, i surely recommend it 10/10

This game has a major issue. When I try to play with a controller, it makes a new player. I am playing single player so I do not want it to make a other player (with split screen). Can you please fix this, if you do I will change my review.

Crashing, over and over, 8 years after release with no real solution in sight. I really want to buy this game for a friend to co-op with but it's just not happening in its current state.

I know this is an older game and it is very good. I played this game a while ago around when it first came out and loved it. I just recently got it on steam and I am still loving it. Very much recommended for a relaxed 2d bit strategy game.

Great game, the only thing I wish is that the escapes were more difficult or at least lengthy

it got boring after i escaped the first prison with my friend its the same rutine over and over and over again and its all there is to the game maybe im just an impatient person but in my defence i played this game like 6 months ago but to be fair it did thicken the lore book of me and my friends history by a lot

Really fun with freinds! its one of those games where its fun to play solo and with others.

Way too linear. Was hoping for more of a "find your own way out" sort of game, but youre pretty stuck to escaping in one of the 1-2 ways planned by the level designer. Lost interest pretty quickly. Why have all of these neat mechanics with air vents and multiple access levels when more often than not, the escape path has nothing to do with them?

so this game is about escaping things. well there are somethings to say about this game release title. 1. no nvidia roblox simulators which i find a bit strange (the game in it of itself of a simulator?) 2. reminds me of the good old days (escaping prison from toilets) 3. in this game you will have to escape toilets as well as prisons (halloween mod) 4. rtx 2060 enabled 5. how do i press 7 on my keyboard?

Honestly, The Escapists 2 didn’t live up to the first game for me. While it tried to add new features and multiplayer, it just feels bloated and less focused. The original had a tighter, more satisfying gameplay loop, whereas the sequel sometimes feels like it’s trying too hard and ends up being frustrating. The charm and simplicity of the first game are missing, and I found myself preferring to go back and replay the original instead. If you loved The Escapists 1, be prepared for a disappointment here.

boring way to complicated overpriced even when on sale this gotta be the most boring game ever made go play the first game the controls are actually awful who made those controls i have accidentally punched about 40 people when trying to talk to them and whoever decided to not add controls settings is insane and needs help these are the worst controls ever made

Controls are confusing, onscreen prompts would be nice.

Typical hero shooter slop, i'll never be playing this again. My friend recommended this to me and i will be cutting them off for that. Going to have a good life knowing i'll never have to play slop like this again.
