While I basically enjoy auto-battlers, The Last Flame turned out to be a real surprise gem. Rather than the tired combine mechanic you see in a lot of titles, it entirely relies on a deep roster of differentiated heroes with a huge combinatoric depth of items, abilities, upgrades, and relics. There are certainly some heroes I prefer more than others, but there are a wide range of viable strategies and combinations. This game outstanding depth, and a nice set of challenge missions to push you to try new tactics that you may have overlooked before. I'm happy to have 100%'d this one, and heartily recommend it.

The game is extremely fun. But, they nerfed a lot of things and they nerfed the discovery of itens and recipes after a battle (You used to have 4 options which you could reroll them. Now you have 3 options. This makes it harder to get specific items for specific builds) If this was a online game i would understand the nerfs. But the game is offline and doesnt have a online high score. And it has a lot of difficulty options, so, i dont understand why the nerf was needed.

Good game, i don't play the custom game cause most of them are random challenges, the game is actually short for my taste u can finish it under 24hr. the reason i spent more time is because i tried different unit combination until everything felt familiar and i'm bored

fun auto-battler, game is a bit too easy and the regular game mode runs are fairly short though. if you like these kind of games this is great for 10 hours.

Love this game, I just wish besides the format endless uses that I could keep progressing down procedural generated routes with increasing difficulties. I always feel like there is more for me to build on my team then it’s over and the endless format leveling is not near as fun without the paths. 100% worth the buy if you like Strategy Auto battlers.

Fun autobattler with lots of synergies and interesting systems to play with. Definitely one of the best in its genre on steam.

It's basically the only good "autochess" game I was able to find. Hard not to recommend it. It's also very addictive. Too addictive.

Game is very cluttered. The UI is cluttered. The map is cluttered. Even the characters. Every other hero is some different fantasy race that you've never seen before. Were the devs in a competition for 'most diverse fantasy game possible'? The rest are all wearing something overly stylished. It's a major strain on your pattern recognition to tell them all apart and knowing who is who. All in all its freaking overwhelming, making getting into the game and learning it is far more work than it needs to be. And that's before you count in the game mechanics themselves. All that was just surface clutter. If I had known how much over-design I had to plow through to learn the basics I would have never started. And the mechanics behind the hyper-active facade aren't anything special either. All that effort was evidently spent on the art department instead.

This is the game I've always dreamed of! I love it so much and it's scratched the itch in my soul for Autochesslike games that arn't dominated by metas and META chasers. This is the best game I've played like it.
