I found this game not so bad as advertised by the reviews. The graphics and soundtrack are gorgeous again, the levels are creative and the content is enough to not overdo the concept. On the negative side the story ends abrupt and the game rarely requires the full potential of the heroes' powers, Also jumping in 3D is not the most precise, but with the convenient revive functionality this does not hurt. I liked what the designers made out of the third dimension, even though not everything works out and the game is better in 2D. I enjoyed my time with the game.

i am a huge fan of the trine series, but this one wasnt it. as you can probably tell by the mixed review, there is something disappointing about this game. the previous 2 games were fully 2d, here they have tried something new by adding 3d elements but made it in the most awkward way possible. the enviroment and levels are designed for 3d, but you only have the 2d view on it, so its difficult to see what exactly youre looking at and what the game wants you to do + going into corners makes it even worse to see whats going on. on top of that its hard to see what the distance between you and the platforms are which is just bad design for a game that is all about platforming.

Interesting aspects in some levels, some other levels are the usual type of puzzles and fights, some have insanely good environments and ambients, and the game looks pretty despite being somewhat buggy but playable. Not too demanding, and it's the first to go 3D. Worth a try.

the worst Trine game you can get..... took forever to finish thanks to me being unhappy playing it... the 3d model made me sick in some levels... not worth it
