If you enjoy the world of league of legends and item crafting games with the core gameplay loop being: grab materials -> craft -> finish quest -> unlock upgrades -> repeat then this game is for you

I love this game — it's very cute and relaxing. Actually, when I first started playing it when it came out, I was very confused about what to do and how to do things, since some aspects of the game aren’t explained and you have to figure them out yourself. So I stopped playing for months. Then I came back — new save, new world, new story — and tried to make it work this time. Yes, it worked, and I'm enjoying the game more than ever. I just had to be a little more focused than usual to figure things out. Sure, I had to Google how to do some quests, but that's not even an issue for me — because in the end, I made it work. The game is kinda complicated at some points, yet chill AF — but that’s its charm, after all. Love it. ❤

wish i could leave a maybe for this game. i did enjoy it, but i felt like the issues that it has stem from the fact that the publisher riot forge shut down basically right after this game came out so it hasn't gotten really any updates in a while. i'd heavily recommend it if this game was actually getting updated (which i normally don't mind in most other games) but really all i can say for this is simply... maybe.

I can't in good faith recommend this game. I really wanted to like it. I played LoL from 2009-2013 almost religiously. I'm familiar with characters and the setting to some degree. Pros: Funny/quirky dialogue, art style choice isn't typically what I like but it works here. Cons: The quest system and mechanics system is incredibly obtuse. There are "guides" that pop up when something is introduced but the explanation is at best incomplete. I actually realized that collecting and crafting has not only depreciated value for skill points but you will actually entirely stop earning any points once you collect or make something enough. This stalls the game considerably as you need said points to unlock your "skill tree" which has MISSION REQUIREMENTS. Arbitrarily padding the game in the most frustrating way. Sure, fewer points for repeated crafts. But none? That's ridiculous. Also I can't express how frustrating it is to have to continuously run back and forth between two areas to accomplish a task. The idea is good but the implementation is poor. I may try to continue this at a later date but as someone who has been playing video games for over 20 years I am starting to question my choices.
