I cannot t play online matches. It's always desynchronizing and it's been 8 months now.

If you have the latest version of windows 11 then do not get this game, a windows update makes you constantly desync and it ends the match, been like that for over 6 months now so dont expect it to be fixed.

Gotta be one of the best fighting game series. Every single character is interesting and unique. Peak story line as well.

Stay the F away from the Steam Version at all costs no matter what. If you have Windows 11, the game becomes completely unplayable online. "The game session has desynchronized" during EVERY SINGLE MATCH, its been like this for over a year now and these worthless scumbags are still selling the game on Steam. I have the game on Series X and have never once ran into the issue there. Asbolutely unbelievable how the devs just do NOTHING to fix this game breaking issue. Good thing Im never buying MK1 thanks to NRS's display of incompetence.

I love this game and i thought coming back would be a good thing. Unfortunate that you get this bug where you cant earn coins or level up so the krypt and player towers can even be used because you need coins. don't waste your money until this gets fixed because its really annoying playing with no reward.

Fun game but after 50 hours for some reason i just cant play online and i lost all my stuff

A lot of the characters in the roster are hidden behind paygates. Why don't they just make a good game at a fair price and have it full featured instead of nickel and dime to death to pay for characters. It's not like it's a free to play. I can't recommend unless you want to spend money to unlock the game you purchased.

The latest Mortal Kombat 11 is solid and enjoyable, capturing all the familiar MK vibes with its intense fights, violence, and impressive, unique fatalities. However, the story tends to repeat itself with each rebranding. Great job on it, but please stop revisiting the concept of going back in time and altering history just to return to the MK 1 timeline every time for the sake of sales. It's time to move forward and create something new or simply let it go, as this repetition is becoming frustrating.

This game is Overwhelmingly Positive. It's got a cinematic single player where you get to play fights and watch a super cool, over the top action movie from hell, the future, the past, you name it. The actual mechanics are great and in-depth. The combo systems and even the frame data contributes to a game being as easy or as challenging as you wish. You can play it by instinct or really learn combos, timings, and become unbeatable. This is the epitome of what a fighting game can and should be.

First few hours: "I got this." Next few hours: gets juggled for 27 seconds straight without touching the ground. - Fighting feels smooth, visuals are crispy, and the sound design makes every hit feel personal. - The story's actually fire and I'm all for it. Would lose again. 10/10.

Honestly didn’t expect to like Mortal Kombat 11 this much, but it grew on me fast. The mechanics feel super polished — tight controls, fluid animations, and every punch/kick/bone crack has real weight. Once you get into the rhythm, the fights are insanely satisfying. What I liked: ✔️ Visually stunning — fatalities are brutal and beautiful (in a “ouch, my spine!” kind of way) ✔️ Roster is solid with some fan favorites and cool guest characters ✔️ Story mode is surprisingly fun and cinematic ✔️ Customization system lets you style your fighter the way you want ✔️ Online modes are decent — some sweaty fights, but that’s MK for you What could be better: ➖ The grind for cosmetics can be a bit much ➖ Krypt is cool but sometimes confusing If you’re into fighters or just want to turn your brain off and uppercut someone into the NetherRealm, MK11 delivers. It respects the legacy while evolving the gameplay.

Its the worst of the modern mortal kombats still fun the combat like always is fun just there are some things in this game that are just bad that I wont go into detail with as I dont wanna type that much.

One of the things I enjoyed most about Mk11 was how you change up special moves and tweak variations to situations in game or online.

Game itself is standard mortal kombat fare. I like the additional characters. I'm not sure if it is because the game itself is old but the server connection is horrible and if you're disconnected you don't get any rewards - which means that you need to do entire towers over again simply because the connection to the server failed. As a side note, Kronika is a boring, frustratingly difficult end boss that forces you to fight her completely differently than any other character. Combos more than 3 hits and special moves are virtually impossible to land. Would consider changing my review to positive if these two glaring issues were fixed.

Played this game a while ago on series x and it's very fun. Better than mortal kombat 1 in my opinion. either steam deck runs amazingly well. 40 FPS in animations 60 FPS in kombat. Online does not work due to anticheat but that's the only reason it has been listed as unsupported. Overall 10/10 got ultra edition for like 7.50 GBP. Edit PC works great but it does seem to have a small stuttering issue in menus when on windows. steam os is fine, no issues. PS PC is way more than powerful enough so it is a windows problem. Overall 10/10

played for 12 hours only story on medium mode and i havent even finished yet. the game is very fun and difficult but you learn as you progress through the story. the story in this game is one of the best stories ive ever played, and the fights are very interesting. this is a great game

I love MK 11. Its fun and combos are so satisfying if you're good with gore. The game is pretty straightforward, except for the Krypt because I did not know what it was for or what to do there (its for exploration where you can get stuff). The character customisation is pretty neat too, where you can attribute combos to outfits. Oh, and its easier (at least for me) to hit combos with a console.

Mortal Kombat 11 is the best mk game to date. Mortal Kombat 1 came out and its fun but, it doesn't have the smoothness and just all around fun like 11 does. I hope the next mk that comes out is more towards 11 and less of 1

9/10 Mortal Kombat has always easily had best games for me in the Fighting genre no other IP has ever really gotten close. Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance was my first MK game and instantly fell in love with them.

I enjoyed this game for the most part. Story Mode feels like you watch fights happen more than you actually partake in them and the cut scenes feel like they drag on forever. Its not a good sign when you skip one and get to a fight and so much context feels missing. Shouldn't matter too much if you lose interest at the mere mention of timelines or dimensions. I haven't touched the online because I know id get my ass kicked or in this case i wouldn't even be able to play it. But the game play is very solid and It's a nice thing to have installed along with a couple of gamepads for when a friend comes over.

Looks Amazing, Plays Well — But Drowns in Grind and Greed Mortal Kombat 11 had me excited from the start — stunning visuals, a killer roster, and some of the best fighting animations in the genre. The combat is tight, brutal, and satisfying. But unfortunately, everything surrounding that solid core feels like a step in the wrong direction. The customization system is one of the worst offenders. On paper, it sounds great: create your own versions of iconic characters. But in practice, it’s locked behind an exhausting grind. You’re flooded with currencies, randomized gear drops, time-limited towers, and overly complex progression systems that feel more like a mobile game than a premium fighter. And then there’s the monetization. Despite being a full-priced game, MK11 constantly pushes you toward spending more — whether it’s for cosmetics, easy fatalities, or DLC characters that arguably should have been part of the base game. It’s hard to enjoy your victories when the game keeps reminding you of what you don’t have. Even the story mode, while flashy and entertaining at first, suffers from tone whiplash and predictable writing. It tries to go big, but ends up feeling bloated. I really wanted to love MK11. The fighting itself is excellent. But it’s buried under a pile of unnecessary systems, excessive grind, and a business model that feels more exploitative than engaging. It’s a shame when great gameplay is undermined by everything wrapped around it.

I love story driven games, and this story is great, but I wish it was longer. I finished the story and the the Aftermath extension in one night. Would love a good 24 hour type story in the future.

I mainly bought all these MKs on an 80% off sale for the story modes and this one doesnt disappoint. This IMO is the pinnacle of the storylines if you are playing through all the Moral Kombats. Fantastic voice actors and a great story with really good visuals. Cant believe only 27% have completed them as of the time of writing this, you other 73% really missed out. One thing I would change is med difficulty is far too easy for a casual player like myself but hard was rather annoying and felt like the AI just watied for me to release block or push a button and then instantly chose a move that was slighytly faster. Would love a difficulty setting that is somehwere in the middles of those two.

I felt like I was at the cinema. A very good game especially because I have been watching this series since I was little.
