Deadside

Theres one popped server (US Central 300) with a team of over 15 players on it that also have an active ADMIN (Mayorfalcon in the official discord) who feeds them information, plays, and raids with them using god mode. I have video evidence of this happening. This admin is part of their friend group and plays other games like DayZ with them. If you play this game stay away from that server its completely corrupt and no way to combat it. If you're a good player as well you'll eventually catch a ban just so they don't have to deal with you. I come from Rust, a much more polished game BUT this game is heading in the right direction. Current critical problems is no safezone camping protection (people wait for you to exit), M99 / Snipers in general are extremely common and easy to find and VERY strong. To strong. You can log out with all of your boom and best gear so if you get offline raided it doesn't even matter but apparently there will be sleepers soon? You can exploit loot through walls so people seal their TC in a room with no doors and just spawn inside the room to maintain upkeep (and this is allowed per admins say so). Building needs alot of love but it is heading the right way. Boom is entirely to easy to acquire. Durability needs a re-work, if it isn't green don't use it, trust me. All in all its just one giga sized team with infinite loot that runs with an Admin so don't waste your time. Wait for updates and play on trusted private servers. Sad. Hope for a brighter future for the game it has insane potential.

I played this game and enjoyed it very much. I found a large active group on the official 300 server and I was playing daily with now 191 hours in the game. SUDDENLY, with no warning myself and three of my teammates were banned. I checked in their discord and the reason stated was exploiting/glitching. It was the same reason for myself and my teammates. Within one minute of being banned our base that we had all worked very hard on was being raided and with a temporary one week ban there was nothing we could do. Unfortunately, I suspect a moderator coordinated with these players in preparation to destroying our base. This is due to the reason that we were banned with no legitimate reason and they refuse to communicate with myself or any other team mate on discord. For this reason I give the game the lowest rating possible, because I played the game fair and was on a winning team, that was punished for no legitimate reason and all of our hard work was taken away by an OFFICIAL GAME MODERATOR. <<<<<DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME AS THE GAME DEVS/ MODS FAVOR CERTAIN PEOPLE>>>>> Please like and comment if you have been unfairly raided on a similar game due to things out of your own control.

Well i got enough playtime now to actually write a review imo that is not too biased. First off, i really love this game. Its basically like DayZ and Rust had a baby, its less hardcore survival than DayZ, but feels like playing DayZ or an Arma game gameplay wise. The community is relatively small, but that shouldnt be a turnoff, theres enough servers so you can decide if you wanna hop onto a full pvp 3x loot one or play the game on a less frequented server. Cant really say anything about the PVE experience cause it just isnt for me. The Endgame in Deadside really only keeps being fun when you are being raided, looting up goes relatively quickly and PVP becomes the main focus quickly because of that, at least thats the case for me. Also i dont share the opinion that the devs dont care about their game or the official servers. Officials compared to DayZ are a lot better to play on, i have played all of my 1.4k hours on official servers to be precise. Ofc there are cheaters, but thats a given in any game nowadays, theres not too many tho, at least when ur coming from cs it will feel pretty clean. Over all, considering also the price its sold at, i can highly recommend Deadside to anyone. Also if ur in my friend list and have questions then just lmk, im happy to answer everything.

Dayz on minimal difficulty settings in terms of survival mechanics much more ai and pvp focused. good for a fair chunk of time if you are into this genre of looter shooter

So you have an option to start building base whilst holding a hammer. If blueprint is red you can't build cause another base. road, POI, etc. is nearby. You can start building when blueprint is green. So you start building like a moron and then when you want to place "Storage" (which is an item you fill in with materials to keep your base "running", same as in rust) it says "Another storage nearby", meaning that someone else's base/storage is nearby. FFS. Why do you give me option to build foundations or anything in the first place then. Edit: Playing PVE official server. Some pleasant and helpful people around but mostly (imo) rude people that will steal your loot after finishing missions.

Has a rotten death issue.. Sometimes on death, ya body vanishes with all its inv, Others can c it but u cant ... 3 time in 3 days... I'm out. Other than that, great. If they fix the bugs ill be back

Deadside starts off looking like it has real promise. The map is genuinely beautiful, and at first glance, you get the sense that something big could be waiting around the corner. But after a few hours, the illusion wears off. PvP is nearly nonexistent, most encounters are with generic AI, and the world, while large, feels hollow. Base building is so easy it removes any real sense of progression, and vehicles? Practically mythical. It’s more frustrating than rewarding. The one active server is a mess, riddled with cheaters and rumors of admin or mod favoritism tied to a specific clan. And sadly, the devs don’t seem too interested in fixing or expanding the game. Updates are rare, feedback feels ignored, and the player base is slowly drying up because of it. There could be something great here, but as it stands, Deadside feels abandoned by both the developers and, increasingly, the community. If you notice a lot of the trailer is showcasing the "beauty" of the game and its ui. In reality though its just covering up the fact of how broken, empty, and disappointing this game is.

Needs more things to do. maybe something harder than epic missions? maybe something more then just cases, helis, and cargos? Needs more base options like maybe hatchdoors and then sumn...Needs more options when it comes to outfits and also a wider variety of colors schemes and skins. All in all just needs more things to do...Once u meet the threshold of doing everything game becomes boring af. not to mention the cheaters. smh

I have 6000 hours in Dayz and 400 hours in Rust. The game is fun enough but most servers are unpopulated. There is no farming, there is no dynamic weather, you can only choose male characters (whats up with that, gamergirls out there? Who even came up with that stuff) The inventory system is limited. The base building is deep enough but it's very easy to obtain resources. Trees won't fall to the ground if you chop them, you simply gain logs but the tree stays. Get 1000 logs from one tree? I did'nt try, but should be possible. It feels more like a shooter to me. It reminds me of Farcry in a sense. The survival elements are eating and drinking and bandaging cuts so you wont bleed out. No illnesses, no temperature, no nothing. The worst of all: The AI. They just shoot you from miles away, with any equipped weapon. So a guy from 300 meters away will have a go at you with a shotgun. Total BS. They do push you and try some flanking, they enter houses. There is something good there. but it's way below par now. I also notice some bugs with scopes. If they improve the AI, if the servers become more popped, if they add dynamic weather and add mechanics so trees will fall down and bushes dissapear when you harvest them, and some more details, this game can be a serious alternative. I got it on sale for 14 bucks, but for a full price? Go play Rust, or Dayz if you want simply games who do things better than Deadside. I do not recommend to buy this game at full price.

Look . This game is not a bad game but at the same time is not good either . You can do things that you can see in the modded servers of Dayz and deadside is one of them . Optimization is great but when I bought this game I couldn't go to any server because loading screen takes forever but then I bought a SSD and changed with my HDD and it runs perfectly so I recommend you to use SSD . Deadside can be better with updates and a good thing is you can build bases like rust . A thing that I see is missions and you can't see that in Dayz . And there are no zombies in it it could be called dead side but there are no dead people in it . So the price is good and cheaper than rust and dayz and if you bored of these two games deadside will be a good thing to you . There are not many players in it like dayz and the 24 hour highest is 1500 players but dayz has more players so if you have money you can buy both dayz and deadside . These two games complete each other I mean dayz is a better survival game but deadside is more like to be action and If you put this action and survival together it could be amazing like a game called DAYZside . so it has potential . And a thing is my laptop is a 2013 laptop like 12 years old and I get more fps in dayz and in the deadside I have lower fps it is because dayz is 2013 game and deadside is 2020 game so in these old laptops dayz will run better but deadside give you playable fps too . ( with SSD ) and bots in this game is really really powerful and they act like a real player like tarkov and arena breakout so some people say bots are not powerful and AI is weak in these bots but it is not they can kill you easily in hard missions and they use some technics to kill you and they really feel like real players . ( beside in dayz zombies will follow you forever until you kill them and in deadside bots will follow you until you kill them too . )

Not Recommended (but kinda recommended, read on...) Hours Played: XX Bought Deadside because I was in a mood. You know the one — where you want Tarkov but without Tarkov, where bullets hurt but not your soul, where the trees are pretty and the loot is just out of reach behind a guy named "xXxSn1perDad420xXx" hiding in a bush. Started looting. Got pants. Got a gun. Felt strong. Got shot. Never saw him. Died with pride. Respawned shirtless and confused. 10/10 immersion. This game looks amazing, runs smoother than my social skills at a family dinner, and the atmosphere? Oof. It's like DayZ and Tarkov had a beautiful, balanced baby and actually raised it. But... I forgot I'm a PvE rat. A loot goblin. A friendless wanderer. The only PvP I enjoy is Player vs Panic Attack. So, I refunded it not because it’s bad — oh no — but because I'm weak, Todd. I'm WEAK. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Did I keep it? No. Will I think about it at 2 AM while playing Stardew Valley? Every damn night. Now if you’ll excuse me… ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

i would rate this game a 9.5 out of ten the game is good you can do fun missions some can be hard some can be easy i would recommend this game for people who like survival games and shooting and dont forget to like and subscribe to therealsupergamer on youtube

joined PVE server started looting and found some guns started fighting group of bots ran out of bullets so I ran inside bus for protection laid down on the floor for reload got stuck under bus seat and wouldn't let me move/stand up or even open inventory 10/10 will never play again

game mechanics are garbage. AI can take 3 rounds to the face from a shotgun 5m away and still kill you. hit reg is garbage, everything about this game is garbage. everytime i come back i am reminded why i onlt have 141 hours after 5 years

Fantastic game, gun play is some of the best ive seen. I have 12k hours on rust and this game itches my rust itch while adding some more tactical game play to it. one of my favorite games. unfortunately due to more than likely poor/zero advertising the server pops are not great. def worth picking up when on sale.

Great game, smooth gameplay, easy to dive in. The pvp is exciting. It is like a lite version of mixed DayZ, Rust and Tarkov.

Fun game, i'm used to playing P.V.E games like Rust or P.V.P like P.U.B.G. only wish there was a mini map on the screen during game play, and the option to make the mini map bigger.

I heard someone call this game Dad Z and I can't agree more lol. Definitely not hardcore FPS survival like Day Z but still a ton of fun...especially for old farts like me who just wanna PVE most of the time.

So, I'm loving this game. I'm just having such a hard time playing it with the rampant cheating. Currently, I've found a pretty good community server with active mods, but if it wasn't for that server, I would just put this game away.

This game has charm. If you arent very good at games like DayZ or Rust, but still want to itch that scratch that only these types of games can provide, look no further.
