Men of War II

All you really need to know: Playing solo conquest mode, OFFLINE, and game booted me due to "lost connection to server"

I have played Men of War 2 for quite some time and can say I thoroughly enjoy it, my introduction to the franchise was Men of War Assault Squad 2, and while the two games have their similarities and differences, they are both a blast to play. Men of War 2 really did a great job implementing aircraft and AA guns, allowing for new tactics and challenges. Paratroopers, strafing runs and more can sway the battle to your favor or against you. The infantry combat is also improved and the most notable way is when you garrison them in buildings, you have the option to fortify the structure which was not present in earlier games. Lastly, and my favorite part, the armored combat still feels great, I love the tank on tank combat, the sound of the shells ricocheting off armor, and the damage to internal crew and modules is really such a step above a basic health bar. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes RTS, or is just beginning to get into the genre, or just has an interest in World War 2.

So honestly i am just a 30 year old gamer that had cool RTS WW2 games to play when i was a kid on PC, and i wanted to scratch that same itch as an adult (think axis & allies). This game has 100% scratched that itch. I only play the single player conquest campaigns and story missions and they are super fun. Is it perfect? No. Is it at least more than playable, even really enjoyable and thought provoking? Yes. You have to think about how you build your regiments to take on certain tasks like attacking/defending a point or is it a city or is it farmland. Using strategies here will reward you, even if the AI isnt 100% perfect. So all in all 8/10 WW2 RTS game and does deserve more love than its getting.

the graphics are very nice,vehicle physics are a little weird but that's okay, i recommend this game as it is very fun.

If you go into this expecting Men of War Assault Squad 2, you will not find what you are looking for. What is here however is a fun RTS with a large assortment of units and the battalions mode is a interesting addition that sets it apart from most other RTS games.

Best blend of classical RTS game mechanics, with immersive and properly scaled warfare tactics like artillery, trenches and other ww2 weapons. The game has a lot more potential in store, but investing in it now, will see it being refined. The developers are Ukranian, so thats all i have to say as to why they're having a hard time. Please support this game as a new platform for ww2 strategy goodness.

Feels like a let down. The UI is horrible . The game feels off. Going back to Assault Squad 2

this game is absolute garbage. constant bugs, takes forever to load anything. and im running a gameing coputer. they issues the development out to some dumb ukranian company that sucks at makeing games apparently. the flow of the game is all over the board and does not flow at all. Constantly crashes

not good but not really bad, i don't like the UI design so bad, some of vehicle physic and movement just bad, it just like moving cardboard, sometime i getting bug mission that need reload the campaign, and sometime AI just like my friend 'Dumb as hell' makes them easily killed by enemy

It feels like I'm back in 2006 - the same dumb bots, the same old issues like not being able to stop self-propelled artillery from switching to HE shells and firing at infantry. On top of that, there's a completely uninspired single-player campaign with dull dialogues and boring missions. Throw in a ridiculous menu and a clear focus on multiplayer — well, good luck with that, guys.

I've had a blast with the single player content so far. Tons to go through. No idea the PvP scene but I don't play these games for that. Think this game is getting some unwarranted harsh reviews but that's just my opinion.

COH 3 with way more detail, tank battles are amazing in this game. Some people may not like the amount of micro managing required though

+1 FOR CREATING AN OFFLINE MODE AND KEEPING THEIR WORD
