Chornobyl Liquidators

I really want to like this game. The story seems intriguing and this style of gameplay is one I'm fond of (it reminds me of walking simulators like everybody's gone to the rapture or games like crime scene cleaner and the first part of house flipper games). However, the gameplay is very unintuitive and buggy which makes it hard to progress. The tutorial itself has several unindicated required tasks which prevent progressing the game and with such vague, low direction If you're willing to put 2 hours into learning the basic mechanics of what's ultimately a walking simulator where you press E at various times, it looks like it could have an interesting message and story and I didn't refund it. But I will say I was very excited and intrigued by this game and the first act just sucked all enthusiasm out of me for it.

Definitely can't recommend this game, which is a real shame because I was very hyped for its release. I got soft locked in the first level, once I get to the roof, I am completely unable to progress as a story critical item (the dosimeter) does not spawn. The platforming is PAINFUL, the framerate is awful. ...where's the radiation? I sat next to the burning remains of reactor #4 and was not affected in the slightest.

Hated every single minute of it.
