This game was super addicting & lots of fun. The only negative point I have is that for the close to $40 I spent on this game I think it needs waaaaaay more content. Even if there isn't more story line, there should be more places to unlock when you finish.

Liked it so much I wished it was longer. Spooky mission wasn't for me though. Stopped playing for a couple months because of it cause I'm not a spooky game kind of gal.

Great game and I hope they make more for it. There is enough game play to be satisfied for the price of $20, I just want more of it and would gladly pay for extra chapters and continuations. Total game play for the story is around 20-30 hours if you take your time and explore. Pros: -The humor of the protagonist and environment -Many secrets to explore -The cleaning itself. Tools are easy to use and lots of upgrades to unlock -Skill pacing is balanced -Menus are nice and clear -Environments are very detailed and full -Re-playable to find missing secrets -The dog doesn't die -Thrilling and chilling at times, but not overtly scary (personal preference) -Decent and grind-able achievements Cons: -Environments with a lot of assets and blood get a little boggy with lower FPS even with a good system (could just be a me issue but my Ryzen 7 5800X/GeForce 3070Ti hasn't had a challenge with anything else) -Difficulty seeing when holding larger objects and navigating around with them -Ladders and platforming aspects are a little challenging. It isn't clear where the player is truly standing in space. -Story is good, but it makes you yearn for a bit more.

Hands down one of the most fun and relaxing games I have had the pleasure of playing. I recommend this game to anyone and everyone looking for a cozy game with some spice to it.

Great game!!! It's Powerwash Sim with mops, sponges, buckets and blood! And it's not as dark as you'd think - the cleaner is doing this job for a noble cause, and has a great sense of humour. There are so many funny one-liners, and the way you can throw the rag-doll corpses around is comedy gold! The controls take a bit of getting used to at first, but picking up trash, switching tools, and emptying the bucket soon becomes second nature. Objectives are clear, and cleaning that last 1% is rarely a problem. Crime Scene Cleaner isn't a janky job simulator, it's got a proper story campaign with skill trees, cutscenes, great voice acting and a cool soundtrack. I highly recommend it!

While I thoroughly enjoyed the gameplay and appreciated the addition of a storyline in a simulator, I was ultimately left very disappointed by the ending. Despite the time I invested—grinding for money through secret rooms and collecting items—the narrative offered no real resolution, which made that effort feel unrewarding. The lack of closure, particularly regarding the daughter’s storyline, was especially disheartening. It’s unfortunate that there was no update or reunion to tie up the plot point. I would caution anyone drawn in by the story elements to temper their expectations, as the conclusion may leave them feeling let down.

THIS GAME SLAPS! game is short and the ending leaves something to be desired, but it was a good way to spend some nights.

[h3]Overview:[/h3] Honestly, this game is a good time if you're into cleaning games and don't mind a slight bit of gore or mild horror themes. It has a lot of funny or interesting mechanics with the variety of tools and some of the achievements are pretty fun to figure out how to get. The graphics are good, the story is interesting and the game play didn't get old for me. I had several funny shenanigans. The sound design and the game design itself is really well made. At the moment the game feels a little short with only 10 missions, and if you followed a guide I'm sure it'd be fully finished in 30 hours or so, but, especially on sale, the game is very worth the price-tag in my opinion. Overall, my experience is that this was great. I'd recommend this to anyone that enjoys playing power-wash simulator, viscera cleanup detail, or other kinds of cleaning simulators. It was relaxing and enjoyable for me. The mechanics were interesting and fun, and the upgrades really do make a difference. I'd definitely recommend this game. [h3]What would make this game better (to me):[/h3] A) I wish the developers added a different third trait-line type of detergent, so if you have the fully upgraded water-bucket, you can put 3 different detergent types in and gain all the benefits of the one skill-tree path. B) I also think that once you've gotten the maximum amount of skill points unlocked for all the skill trees that you stop accumulating points, and or the skill menu pop-up just fade after a certain number of seconds. C) Only last change I'd personally think would be more interesting would be if the 'unbroken' bottles/glasses/various items scattered could be stacked and put away for a 'perfectionist' achievement of sorts or maybe just give the player more things they can do. Putting food in fridges, tossing all the recycling boxes into recycle bins etc. [h3]Constructive criticisms:[/h3] These are mainly just a few buggy/QoL fixes. 1. Sometimes seat cushions get stuck in the chairs and are a little difficult to take back off due to getting stuck in the other object. 2. Sometimes when you're using controller, the pause menu doesn't know which button it's on. This may be due to registering both mouse/keyboard and controller as control schemes and swapping back/forth. Minor issue. 3. It's a little more annoying to go back from a mission to select a different one on controller as it goes all the way back out. 4. The collection zone for bodies could be a bit wider around the truck. Sometimes they'd get stuck in the truck instead of in the trunk. Very funny but could be fixed a little bit. [h3]In Conclusion:[/h3] If you think you'd enjoy this game, grab it. It's a lot of fun, and pretty relaxing.

i see the hype on cleaning games. its a vibe. also i like the different tools you get in this one, the story gives me early 2010 game vibes.

loved the game, i love this loser single father who probably made his kid sick in the first place with his awful one-liner dad jokes or something. but you CAN pet the dog. i marathoned this game over a single weekend and i just wish it was longer--

Honestly, I don't really like gore. But after playing this game, it wasn't as bad as I thought. This game is- addicting. The main character is pretty funny with his one liners, and the cleaning itself is easy. I have yet to finish all of the content. The replay-ability probably wouldn't be the best, but regardless, this game is at least a 9/10.

Super fun game that I thought was about someone working for the PD to clean up crime scenes, not for a mob boss lol. Either way, a fun game that is relaxing, I just wish there was more of it! I don't like cleaning my own house, but I will happily clean up what the boss tells me to!

I loved this game. It had enough story to keep my interested, the voice acting is pretty funny and reminds me almost of Ryan Reynolds. Very relaxing though, no time limit for the main story, but if they do put in challenge options like rumored, I would love to play those too. I would have liked maybe a bit more story, but that's just personal opinion. If they find an organic way to expand it, I would enjoy that a lot. The cleaning is fun, if you're someone like myself who loves tedious tasks. Secrets in every level, collectibles, and so many fun things to find. I loved all the funny and sometimes messed up references ( there's a reference for example of 5 men and a woman ... if you know you know ) I hope to see more activities added as mentioned, would give more replayability beyond maxing all stats and then seeing how fast you can clean things. I hope we find out more about the main story thing as well, no spoilers of course. Overall, if you enjoy tasks like cleaning, collecting, finding secrets, and being on the side of the crime scene cleaner for criminals, I feel this is very much one of the better 'simulator games' with nice graphics for the most part as well.

I saw this on youtube and decided to give a try. Never was one for these cleaning games at all, but this stuck to me because of the crime theme. Personally, rather than finding It "relaxing", I treated It as a chore but satisfying knowing you cleaned an entire area, and you don't need to go back there again, even more when the 100% "perfect" score shows up. Loved the dark humor of the protagonist in all aspects, and the references to memes and media were a candy for me. Must say the Haunted House level creeped me out a bit, and an unexpected jumpscare too.

I loved this game, it was everything that I wish Viscera Cleanup Detail was. The only sad bit is once the game is done it's just... done... There's no extra content or maps and it's a bummer. I'd love to see more maps or something.

This game is so entertaining to play!! I enjoy playing when I have plenty of time, also the secrets are so fun to uncover. I expect to see more games like this in the future, and the story line I think it's somewhat bittersweet.

It's a pretty good game, keeps you busy and it's easy to chill out and play. Everything runs smoothly and the game is super well made. My only critique is I wish it was a longer game and had more jobs! Besides that, I highly recommend the game!

Enjoyable game about cleaning up crime scenes. While gameplay stays pretty much the same, the levels often provide various additional tasks and secret areas. Most upgrades aren't significant but cumulatively they can make the cleaning process a lot easier and faster. The story is just okay, it's pretty simple and has no significant bearing on the gameplay. [spoiler]It's too bad that we don't really see a proper ending to the protagonist's storyline.[/spoiler] Recommended for fans of cleaning and relaxing simulation games.

The story alone this is amazing! I'm on Chapter 7 (not gonna spoil anything. you gotta go play it ;) ) It really hit me (more than it probably should of). The overall concept of the game is simple: go in and clean. However, the story and the secrets really just immerse you in the game and it feels so much more than just a simple cleaning game. I'm obsessed with this game currently and will be for awhile. 100000/10!!!

This game is such a relaxing one if you like sitting and playing cleaning games. I mean, yes its gory, but man is this fun and I just chill and play this game until I actually gotta do stuff! Such a fun game.

At first, I really enjoyed the game. I love cleaning sims, and I loved the story behind this one. It was very satisfying. But the further I got into the game, the larger the sites became, and the more it became a hide and seek simulator. I cannot tell you how many times I wanted to rip my hair out at behind unable to find the last piece of furniture I was supposed to fix. Technically, I am allowed to finish a job without doing everything. But I want to do everything I'm supposed to do. And the devs hiding the furniture ten rooms away and tucking statues into corners or hiding chairs on the ceiling... this is driving me mad. I shouldn't need to look up guides just to finish a cleaning job. If you're a perfectionist, don't buy this game.

Wow, I never expected a good little story from a janitor simulator. But here we have it. Overall, it's a good game with fun story plus several little stories on levels, but it has zero replayability. One and done. Also, game physics isn't that good sometimes, there are some typos and voice/subtitle mismatches, last scene felt rushed and abrupt, but other than that, I liked it!

Ive been enjoying this game a lot, I have lots of fun and I'll continue to play it BUT There is AI generated art in this game and that is not mentioned anywhere on the steam page as it should be. Even though I've been enjoying it, until the store page is updated to include that there is AI art I won't recommend it.

Honestly amazing game, its first time i play a simulator that has actully really good story, every place has its lore and you learn on what happened as you clean through it, achivements are fun and you can do them easily in one playthrough i will definetly continue playing to finish all the side maps i dont remember last time game like this gave me so much fun! 100% recommend

I really enjoyed playing this and getting 100% on all the levels. I wish there was some dlc content or a better conclusion to the story, but the overall game play is addicting and super relaxing.

Only complaint is that it is too short, much like Viscera Cleanup Detail and PowerWash Simulator but with a darker story (which does involve subjects like self harm so Trigger Warning for those sensitive about such topics).

definitely suggest if you're into anything that has to do with forensics or criminology, stuff like that, its a cool game to play in your free time!

It has a great plot, its relaxing.... in a weird way...? And there are secrets and modes to keep you playing! I would rec it if it's on sale for sure!

The kind of game where it's perfectly acceptable to casually barge into a stranger's home, steal their valuable assets, and mishandle the dead bodies all the while cleaning up the horrendous amount of blood splatter everywhere. Perfect to unleash the unspoken thoughts we often wonder what it's like if we listen to our shadows. On the bright side, we have a dog we come home to!

I started this game today morning and I have 10 hours in it. GIRL IM ADDICTED. It's not just a cleaning sim (which is so fun, and about as relaxing as cleaning gruesome bloody scenes can be but it's also a story. And you're like a detective, trying to figure out what happened based on the blood trails, evidence etc. SUCH A UNIQUE GAME, i promise u won't regret!! Edit: I finished the last mission and was so excited thinking they'd give me a small house to clean instead but no, THE CREDITS ROLL. I WANT TO PLAY MORE, I WANT MORE EASY NICE MISSIONS LIKE THE APARTMENT ONES :(((

I really enjoy this game. As weird as sounds it is relaxing and like the little story to it. Hoping for more to it soon. Didn't run in to any real problems with design or bugs. Shorter game beat in a few less then 24 hours.

I really loved playing this, it was satisfying and had an simple but fun story however sometimes the game would glitch out which made things a bit annoying but luckily they were only minor glitches which does not effect the game play. Overall I would recommend.

This was such an amazing game to 100% and I highly recommend it to anyone! Everything about this game was consistent from the voice acting, to the creative crime scene areas and even the story line. Don't get me wrong it can be a bit repetitive but if you want a nice, chill game to relax after a long day this is definitely it. It's not an obnoxiously long game either and the best bit is that you can save your progress and come back to it. Another great game from the devs!

i absolutely LOVED this game, kovalsky's humour, petting dexter after brutal clean-ups. the skills upgrades, finding out about a STORY unfolding and not just cleaning. i liked pressure washer simulator but im a major horror and gore fan along with that so this game ive completed twice already now is one of my absolute favourites, it checks ALL of my boxes for a nice simulator cleaning game its relaxing yet exciting. 100000/10 PLEASE PLAY THIS GAME !!!! (also i want new maps pls i cant keep replaying it <3)

I usually don’t play games for several hours with no breaks but this one really had me stuck in my chair for 8 HOURS. From playing Viscera Cleanup Detail for 100 hours this is a game I’m expecting to do the same with. Really nice cleaning mechanics but I wish there was more organizing to be done because some of the cardboard boxes we’re bugging me out but I think that’s just me. I can really recommend it but I would also advise to wait for more updates of the game because I played it upon the release and had my eyes on it in early access but I’m so glad I played it. One more thing, the story was really cool to follow. Some details are something to look out for and I can say I was really immersed (for 8 hours). If you’re one to get all the achievements I would tell you to really look around thoroughly to find all the secrets for funsies. I give it a 7/10 because there are some things that can become even better and also I played through the whole game in 12 hours so it’s fairly short but I’d say give it a shot sometime if you’re a clean freak like me :))
