Pretty fun game! > I love the art style and visuals. > The moving scenery reminds me a lot of Octopath! Also, (and I can't believe I'm saying this) I'm actually finding the dodge mechanics [i]fun[/i] for once. I normally never dodge, but the way it's implemented in this game is really satisfying (by triggering auto attacks) and forgiving enough on the timing to use it reflexively mid-battle without needing a ton of practice. [h3]Pros:[/h3] 1. Well implemented game-play mechanics 2. Lovely visuals 3. Story seems engaging so far (but I'm only 1 hr in so we'll see if it continues to be engaging) 4. Great controller support (I love the R-stick aim&auto-fire feature!) [h3]Cons:[/h3] 1. There can be a lot going on on the screen during battles, so the otherwise-aesthetic pixel graphics can get confusing and hard to follow at such times. This might get better with practice, but it is something to consider if that's something that would bother you.

im sorry but i really hate the combat in this its just not good. and feels vary lame. its like wizard of legend but instead of the combat is shit. its a button masher if you could choose what moves you throw out instead of bashing a button to go threw your moves 1 at a time in a set order like a shitty preset combo. it would be kinda good cause thats what makes most fighting games fun being able to throw out and make your own combos.. but this is just not that its got great art and sprites but im sorry this.. is not worth 15 bucks to me... so luckily i got it on sale for 5 bucks worth it but if they just changed it so instead of haveing a forced chain and you can have a set of moves you can do. and felt more interactive with the combat then yea it would be worth it and more then its set price
