>i download the game >it runs terribly on my intel core I7 cpu 4070 gpu laptop >turn down max frames >works >attempt to do the 1st mission >game breaking bug not letting me progress >reload 20 minute old save and do everything over again >5 minutes later another game breaking bug not letting me progress >reload save again >game crashes >reload game go back to 25 minute old save and the floor texture is missing >give up what the hell? this game should still be in early access or beta its nowhere near completed with the amount of bugs and glitches (oh and this game is 3 years old) "postal 4 is gonna be fixed" my ass. RWS please fix this game

ONLY BUY IF YOU'RE A DIEHARD POSTAL FAN This game has been out for a few years not but its literally just a slop game. It hasn't been optimized and still has bugs, the humor is alright yet bland. its nothing compared to postal 2. It killed the soul of postal 2 by making the game's jokes more "family friendly" and avoiding obvious opportunities to make a political joke or a race joke. The map is way too big and empty, it doesnt even feel nor look like a city, and the ai okay at best. some errands are fun but a few can be repetitive. the rampages are fun too but they get repetitive considering there are like 50 of them. its very buggy and likes to crash. overall its a below decent game and underwhelming sequel but its alright enough to be recommended ONLY to diehard fans of this series. its very frustrating though (and terribly optimized). Its that type of game you want to finish for the sole reason of uninstalling it and freeing up some space on your hard drive. Considering how sloppy it is, at least it's the type of game you want to finish at all.

P4 has been definitely improved since the release, but still there has to be a lot work done. Developers, please add steam workshop ASAP. Modders will polish the game...And the game is not worth the full price, only buy with big discounts.

No amount of jank can save this. The world map is empty and boring, the buildings are mostly explorable but empty so there is very little reason to explore (i went through 6 small "food shops" without ever encountering even a single slice of pizza). But the biggest sin by far is that most of the missions are just... boring. some are fun, but some honestly play it so safe, it's like the joke is that this is a postal mission. like at some point you go vote. and the joke is if you pick blue it defaults to red. no rioters, no rednecks, no fighting. Even the missions that do have a good joke in them are boring from a gameplay perspective. the pirson mission on monday has probably the best joke in the entire game, and before you "press the button" you are basically thrown into an empty prison. same with the nascar colloseum. lastly, the game entered started development 2018? It's quaint to think any of this has any still relevant political commentary. To be fair postal 2 had the same issue, but it also played on tropes and even the levels with political comments are usually entertaining enough to still be fun today. I think i could have forgiven this more if the world map was better built; tighter, with more rewards for exploration. but the jokes barely land, the world feels empty (and no amount of NPC spawn can fix that, FIX THE FUCKING MAP) and the actual missions are quite boring. Better than Postal 3; but it's close.

this game is realy good, just like the launch of postal 2, its buggy and unfinished all over the place. but i think that some of the charm of this game, its awful at launch, but slowly and surly it becomes a classic game, it just need alot of time, development, and care. the game is here, and it is good, but it needs alot of smoothing around the edges, if you buy this game, make sure your ready for it to not meet your expectations, for now. :) keep going RWS!

This game is a janky piece of shit, but a masterpiece. My game crashed about 5 times at the kunny island part on Wednesday. But this is amazing play it NOW!

I bought this in early access, and boy do I regret it. The enemies are bullet sponges, they never miss, and you die way too easily. I gave up on the virtual reality errand and stopped playing for a while. I came back and tried to start a new game, but the border patrol errand is still such a massive pain in the ass that I'm just not willing to go through it again. Add to that the constant fear of the game randomly crashing. I thought after 3 years the game would be in better shape, especially once they reached the 1.0 release.

Tem potencial para ser melhor que o Postal 2, mas sinceramente jogo dropando de 90 a 40 fps em um PC razoavelmente potente não da.

Optimization and performance is horrible. It doesn't really matter if you have a decent rig, you will experience terrible frames, even with the public beta.

Good to see they've abandoned this project in favour of working on a postal 2 redux which they'll undoubtedly ask a lot of money for.

are you aware of something called optimization? nothing beats Postal 2 , u guys lost your passion.

i'm gonna be honest, rws needs to at least cook this up for a little longer because the fucking amount of lag even in the intro cutscene already made my eyes bleed

Pros: - Better than Postal 3 - Weapons feel insanely nice to use, sound design is 10/10 and your bullets feel like actual bullets. - Mechanically a direct upgrade from Postal 2 Cons: - Poorly optimized, you will experience frame drops and stutters if you don't have a good computer - Janky save system that only saves your position and ammo/powerups. Killed enemies stay dead for... some reason. - Feels like they forgot to put loot in a lot of places. Where in Postal 2 you could find stuff on top of buildings and power lines you barely ever find that kind of stuff here. There's some good places to explore but they're few and far between. - Missions feel insanely linear at times; come on I thought you guys learned from Paradise Lost. - At one point I traveled to a mission area for a later day early and got softlocked within one of the main rooms. I had to reload my save. So, uh, be careful of that. All in all a great experience if you still find yourself wanting after completing Postal 2. Hopefully it gets fixed, but with effort being put towards the postal 2 remake idk if that's happening anytime soon.

I recommend you to play Postal 2 instead of this boring and poorly optimised garbage.

It's more postal. Great way to kill time and have senseless fun.

I'm a huge fan of the postal franchise so it makes me sad to say that this isn't a great experience. Here are some of the bigger flaws: The UI is ugly and the general art direction makes the game look "alright" at best It performs hideously and frequently stutters even on the lowest possible graphics The game just doesn't look good. It feels like it lacks a coherent idea of what aesthetic it's trying to achieve The phone's map is incredibly buggy and hard to use The world feels too large and is too large, so it's a total bitch to navigate. Granted, you have sprint and mobility scooters, but it still makes for an incredibly boring experience to get to place to place. The addition of the reload mechanic hurts gunplay, I know it's realistic but it just makes postal 2 seem much more fun in comparison. There are plenty of bugs and glitches left in. One time, I was able to just walk through a rock wall and get outside of the game map. 40$ is a large price for an unpolished game like this. It's clear to me this game was rushed or perhaps just super mismanaged. Unless you're a diehard postal fan or just incredibly curious to see what this game is like, I think it's better off skipped.

Very janky but also satisfying. The open world is somewhat empty but still rewards exploring and the gun game is pretty good.

Take Postal 2 Subtract everything that made it enjoyable or good You have Postal 4

I think you could have more fun in Postal 3, and that's bad.
