6/10 The cosmic horror idea with the plants was good, graphics are nice, & the story was fun. BUT The fact that you don't see ANYONE until you come across their dead body was really off putting. I couldn't connect to any of the other characters enough because we NEVER saw them. Also, there are no tentacles in this game. There are VINES that are similar but different. Also, the final chapter was just rushed through so quickly. And the its over and you get the bad ending. No choice of a good or even ambiguous ending. Still worth playing but get it on sale.

such a cool game, it's a real shame that 1/3 of the way in a puzzle wont spawn a certain thaing and thus i cant continue with the story, and worse it took more than 2hrs to get to that point so i cant get my money back. the internet has no real advice either except seek out a forum...u know how helpful and kind reddit ppl are

Moons of Madness is pretty terrible. Trying to complete what constitutes a boss fight in it revolves around a series of incredibly frustratingly timed quick timed events which are almost impossible. At first I thought it was because I was using a controller and found I wasn't able to hit the button fast enough with low latency. So I switched over to the mouse to try and found the timing to be equally as stupid. The atmosphere is good, but a totally lack of character interaction besides getting audio messages and reading emails before eventually finding bodies left me fairly cold to anyone's plight. I may try and complete it one day, when frustration has ebbed and I just happen to get lucky and hit a quick time event precognitivley.

Short but fun. Really enjoyed the lovecraftian horror and the game atmosphere is executed really well
