Cannot say I enjoyed this much and with how expensive it is off sale and how short it is I definitely can't recommend this hoping the other games in the series work better for me

im ngl i cannot stand emeth. it's like playing a 6 year old and while I understand that they are supposed to be a "naive innocent robot character" it's just very annoying to hear him beg for his mommy. game is also very short for $15. gameplay is interesting but not very engaging

This is a truly heartfelt game. You can see there was a lot of love from the developers, but I feel their vision lacked substance. The main story was made to last around two hours - because they wanted it to feel like a movie - but that decision was to its detriment, as most of the very good story content was left to the post-game. There's almost an hour of content unlocked after the credits - much of which many people might not see, and it's the best part of this game's narrative. Much of the characters' backstories would be much better integrated into the main story instead of getting side-tracked into post-credits. The mechanics are an interesting and somewhat experimental blend of puzzle and exploration. You explore the stars and planets looking for a long-lost Earth, and to reach your goal you need to solve simple tracking and navigation puzzles. They're very charming, especially because you get the feeling of becoming an expert in the areas available to you, while still feeling like there's so much you don't know about the universe. The novelty of this mechanic works because the game is short, though, as there's not too much interactivity. It's an interesting game, but I hate the 1000 stars achievement. Score: 7/10 - Memorable
