The first level is great! Unfortunately while the game presents as one where the point is wrecking buildings, it very quickly becomes a loop of 'steal safes and cars under a strict time limit to upgrade your tools to steal more safes and cars' and it's neither fun nor particularly engaging.

Before it was bought by Saber i would recommend it. But Saber saw its popularity and milked the hell out of it.

Really awesome 10/10. Treadmill go boom. Cars go crash. No more needed to say download this game. Does require a decent computer but still download it anyways.

The whole point of the game is fighting with 60-second alarm clocks. You don’t have much in the way of destruction tools, and the ones you do get feel pretty limited and repetitive. The missions quickly turn into frustrating timer races instead of creative sandbox destruction. Overall, it’s more stressful than fun.

game got pretty trash after the acquisition... sad to see an actually technically impressive game go this way.

This game gives you a clear idea of how much the gaming world can evolve, The destruction physics in this game is total bliss I recommend this game to anyone who loves destruction physics games! The only thing I dislike about the game Is that when destroying a building it..kinda floats in the air.

I had to refund. I feel it sucks. The physics engine... the whole hook of the game, is terrible. A structure can be supported by a single voxel. Weight is modeled weird and wrong. Everything feels floaty. Try as I might, I just was not impressed with the physics, I find Red Faction Guerrilla from years ago to have more impressive building destruction, even if the simulation was simplistic. The campaign missions were not fun or well represented. The premise the missions were based on were not that interesting, and the whole vibe and atmosphere of the world lacks the feeling of wanton destruction and chaos. It all felt very... Cozy. It doesn't really look anything like the screenshots or videos. The workshop content was neat, and people being creative is always awesome. All the tools are here to allow you be as creative as the engine allows. That's a plus, but I was not sold. The game also has paid DLC. I was not sold. I feel that the game just does not warrant the cost and time investment when it's main emphasis is on the physics, and the physics just feels bad and not fun. Perhaps this is just the opinion of a jaded old gamer, so take it for what it's worth.

Even with few to no mods, on a new pc, I feel like this game will explode my computer. It isnt even too good at physics either, sometimes, an entire building, is hanging on by a literal thread. like a serious, honest to god. THREAD. Not to mention sometimes it just refuses to open, like it might open, but if you go on a map with absolutely any mods, it will just freeze.

The destruction aspect is fun, but the campaign is just awful. "Steal these things in under a minute" is not what I was expecting most of this game to be.

An amazing sandbox game that lets you destroy truly everything. And the Steam Workshop features a ton of great maps, vehicles, tools etc. 10/10 recommended

Teardown is one of the greatest physics games out there, up there with the greats like BONELAB and BeamNG.drive. With a campaign of stealing stuff and a sandbox full of exploding random crap and spamming Nitroglycerin explosives everywhere, in my opinion this game is absolutely worth the price, however you will need a pretty beefy PC to get this game to run stable at higher settings.

Immense fun, the ability to just destroy things at whim especially in sandbox mode is great. I can cut the foundations of out buildings and yeet them across the map, I can set things ablaze, I can weld a catapult to a yacht and explode houses... So much fun. Even my system struggles with a lot of damage though, and I don't have necessarily weak specs.

Fun game in single player. My son has been playing it since he was 7 in sandbox mode and loves it to death. So like a 7 from me and 10,000 from him...

From the second I saw Teardown, I knew I had to play it, and it did not disappoint. This is one of the most innovative, satisfying, and effortlessly fun games I’ve ever touched. The destruction physics are just chef’s kiss, genuinely next level, and no matter how many hours I sink into it, it never stops being a joy to mess around with. Visually, it’s gorgeous in its own quirky way. It hits that lo-fi aesthetic while still pulling off some stunning lighting and atmospheric moments. But really, what makes Teardown special is how freeing it is. Whether you’re chasing objectives or just blowing things up in sandbox mode, it’s an experience that respects the player and invites creativity instead of limiting it. It’s also one of those games that’s just perfect to wind down with. Chill, immersive, and endlessly replayable, the kind of game you lose track of time in. I’ve played since release, modded it, completed the campaign, and I’ll still keep coming back. There's just something magical about how it all comes together. More people need to play this. It's essential gaming, honestly. I really hope other developers take notes, because this is how you build something original without compromising fun. Absolute W.

very fun campaign, but also fun to just mess around with in sandbox, the majority of the hours I have in this game are me doing just that, with like 20% of it being the campaign. Very fun, 100% recommend buying it.

If you want a vast open world with people to talk to and things to see this probly isnt the game for you. i recommend this game because the game is less about story and more about screwing around with mods and bombs. The game does have quests to do, but I would barely call them quests there more just ways to make money for your house and tools/wepons, all you do is blow stuff up or steal something, but where the game lacks story and quests, it makes up for in mods and sandbox. The game itself comes with just a few sandbox maps that you unlock via quests, but on the steam workshop and their privet (private dumbass) mods menu there is hundreds if not thousands of mod levels, and if your looking to add something to your arsonal there is even more mods. In my opinion the game is better the way it is, it dosnt have a vast open world with millions of cookie cutter tasks like a lot of new games, not to say that a lot of new games arn't great, like fallout New Vagas, that game saved my marige which is weird because I was 12. The games full playthrough for me was, I think, like 10 hours, and I spent 4 of those hours blowing up a minecraft mod. So in conclution the game is just ok by itself with only a few maps and tools but with mods the game becomes, basicly, boneworks.

this is a very fun game, in my opinions the challenges of later levels timing wise can be difficult but still fun and it has great steam workshop support so i'd recommend buying on stream over gog if even possible.
