Layers of Fear

So I'll say that I actually didn't finish the second part with the actor. Idk, just didn't matter to me at all. But the first one, the mom and daughter's stories, and the writer all really grab me. I've tried a couple times to pick it back up just so I can see the end of the writer's story, but I just feel like I'm wasting my life with the actor portion. Even so I still was overall happy with the game

Could not go back to a section I missed where it wasn't obvious which path will progress the story and which one is a side path even by intentionally corrupting my saved game file. No previous version available in steam cloud.😠 Basically lost interest in the game then and there, which is a shame as I was already in the middle of the actor's story.

Magnificent thriller/horror title that is incredibly imaginative in both visuals and design. Layers of Fear uses clever level design and visuals to disorient and unnerve. It is a criminally underrated game and I can't recommend it enough. Bloober Team are a great developer of narrative horror titles with imaginative design and strong atmosphere.
