Base game is great - this DLC is trash. Really buggy to the point of not being playable. I zoomed through the base game and really enjoyed it. Once I hit the DLC content, though, my game quickly became ruined. Display cases stopped working, I got stuck in the shop, I got stuck between dungeon rooms, I had invisible customers I couldn't speak to, I couldn't sleep to pass the day. Total mess - avoid!

After I found out that THE FORGE'S INVENTORY EXPANDS after you finish the game and start the DLC (which took me about 3 hours), this DLC became a lot of fun. I feel like the developer could have just explained the DLC's content better in-game.
Rating: 3.5 / 10
The adventures of Will continue as a new portal opens, promising a new dungeon along with new items, weapons, armour, enemies and mini bosses. Relive the excitement of discovering new armour and weapons, but also what the new dungeon items are and more importantly, how much they sell for. A new environment waits our hero, familiar yet different. No shortcut portals can be created however a mysterious figure can be found and help on certain levels, for a price of course. Some disappointments:

Certain enemies can steal items out of your inventory with seemingly no limit and no regard for the 'safe slots'.
Using a bow on the electrical wizard (that can steal your items) while it's being electrical, still causes you damage despite attacking with a ranged weapon.
Dungeons feel like more of a grind than an adventure unlike the original. Work towards getting the items for upgrades and money so you can progress, to get better items and make more money for the next slightly better upgrades.... rinse and repeat.
To add to the previous remark, the new dungeon items cannot be bought from the NPC that sells discovered items like you could with the previous dungeons. You would need to favourite items you want to craft, to know which items to hoard, otherwise you will have to do runs through the dungeon and hope you find them.
There are certain crafting items ONLY found by haggling the new NPC if you wish to have higher tier of the new weapons and armour. The items requested for trade can be easily bought from the original NPC item seller however, these unique items have a small quantity and is not refreshed daily but almost weekly, making for an unnecessary delay.
No real upgrades to your shop or town added, only a new NPC so you can haggle for exclusive items (as mentioned above)
Overall: Essentially adds a gauntlet style run with random enemies (both previous and new) and teleport points, adding a layer of difficulty. It's exciting at first but you slowly start to feel the grind as you repeat levels again and again, waiting to gather certain items for better gear. This DLC adds a little bit of lore and gameplay but not playing it means you won't miss out on much.
