100% Achievements Review: This game is what Pokemon would have been if they stuck with their original Capsule Monsters concept and expanded upon it to the 2nd generation of games, instead of scrapping it entirely with the remade Pocket Monsters/PokeMon games. The artstyle is great, the story is more gritty but not overly-annoying (like Pokemon Snakewood fangame),monsters have nice designs and the way to get evolutions is interesting. You can also fuse monsters together like in some pokemon fangames to get monsters with the strongest attacks, and you can ride certain monsters to easily one-hit any approaching monster and get EXP without having to do a battle. You can also get random loot through exploration. Music is a bit repetetive (because there aren't a lot of unique music tracks) but it's catchy. The only major downsides are the large amount of dead-end regions while exploring,so you have to do a lot of exploring to find an area with a monster, there arem't any tips where you're supposed to go during the story (you're only told the general area of where you're meant to go and have to look for it yourself) and there are a lot of bugs (I got stuck inside one of the music band NPC followers one time but got out by using the monster cards to teleport to the dream-world area, and was stuck in the shop menu forcing me to alt+F4 and re-do 30 minutes of gameplay). Overall it's an above-average monster collecting game, but you'll need to look for guides near the end of your playthrough to progress, and save often. 8/10.

A fun callback to the old days of Pokémon and the Game Boy Color. While I do recommend this game, it is very rough. There are many bugs and errors that are not intentional hindrances, making one feel like they are playing an older game. Sprites glitch, the screen camera and game stop randomly, and the way learning progresses could be improved. That said, it is a good foundation for a series. I like the darker, rougher tone to the world. and the semi-open world was nice to explore. The monsters themselves are neat, and the breeding mechanic is addictive. It's worth a shot if you enjoy this kind of game, but I wouldn't blame anyone for skipping it. I am looking forward to the sequel that is to come, as it shows many signs of improvement.

One of my favorite games from the Monster Collecting genre. It scratches the itch that most mongames don't with it's deep breeding system. Yes, there are bugs. But none have discouraged me as I constantly save and have storklift feathers to get myself out of potential softlocks. If anything, I can count on one hand the amount of softlocks I experienced in my hundreds of hours I have played. A lot of the battle mechnics and monster stats got a recent boost or balance a little while ago which was a nice motivator for me to return for another replay of the game. ***Btw play with exp share off if you want to level up your monsters faster. The ability to customize my game with a nuzlocke and randomizer mode is always nice. This even lets you randomize monster color palettes if you want more variety in your monster colors early game. And being able to mod in any monster that I want into the game is always fun if you're the creative type with making monsters or monster sprites. Love this game, could yap for a while about it.

The game is a good distraction, a call back to the old pokemon games. Pretty nice variety of creature to collect and breeds, a healthy amount of combination. and Mechanic seem interesting enough. Though, the game seem it be rough around the edge (at least on version you play on PC) buggy UI, getting soft lock when you choose "No" in the Exit choice. the ability to scout only work one out third time you pressing the button. the Monster Farm UI is massed up. and the option for online trade are not compatible in PC. over-all, it's fine. I give a pity point for a solo dev. (Note: the newer game is in development, you can wait for that one instead)
