Arcanium: Rise of Akhan

Playtime is just for tutorial and 1 failed run so far. I might drop the difficulty from normal to casual to get more done since it looks like you get the same amount of XP from doing stuff (there is permaprogression across runs) but the game gets easier, so you can get more done. I'm not against difficulty I just have so many games to play these days. On Deck it uses the right trackpad as mouse by default, joystick doesn't act as joystick but alternate mouse control. So if you want strict traditional gamepad controls this won't be your thing. I think it feels fine though. Defaulted to max graphic settings and it's 60fps lock (I'm not watching it constantly but it always looks smooth and whenever I look it says 60). It is 60fps cap so you won't be able to take full advantage of the OLED Deck's 90hz screen. You can set resolution to multiple including 1280x720 or x800, I chose x720 cuz with 800 the Steam metrics overlay I always have running covers up some of the game info at the top. I had played Across the Obelisk in coop which from what I had seen and now experienced so far seems to have the same vibe, card based rogueliTe not liKe so permaprogression making the game get easier the more you play. But unfortunately unlike Across the Obelisk no coop even though you have 3 heroes.

Verified isn't a whole truth. Really should be "playable". Using the right thumb stick as a mouse movement and the triggers for the mouse buttons barely qualifies as playable. Now this is shelved until my PC is setup again more than a month from now.
