Sins of a Solar Empire®: Rebellion

Firstly, this game is a sandbox-style product so there is no campaign. If you like the RTS-cum-4X kind of game, then this is for you. And this is the first game in the Sins of a Solar Empire franchise. It is best to play this old game before playing the Sins of a Solar Empire 2.

A good game made better with mods like sta3, star wars and such.

I’ve been playing this game since I was a kid, when it first came out. Recently, I decided to complete all the achievements to ‘finish’ it, since it doesn’t have a proper campaign or progression system. I did it, but it was tough. My longest match lasted about 26 hours. The gameplay is simple and easy to learn, and its mechanics are still great, even by modern standards.

I have played this for years and while the base game is great and all the dlc is worth picking up the mods are where its at. i'm very happy a new sins is coming out too.

Takes a few rounds to get the hang of upgrades, weapons types and the economy but it's worth it. A fun game that will run on any laptop or PC. If you like RTS games this is a good one.

played, didnt like as good as Endless Space. so I no longer play it.
