The only game i played where money dont just spawn out of nowhere. It comes to your town via trade, then circulates between the people. Never seen such feature even in economy simulators.

Cant lie this is one of my Favourite colony sims ever, the way you manage the family's zones, the lords house and the church all full of all sorts of complexities. The game feels full and keeps me engaged, I've played far too many colony/settlement style games and their all quite samey with very mild graphical differences, this one perfectly achieves a different angle on the game play which I love. I do have to say though that due to this different angle and the not so enticing tutorials this game has a bar to entry in actually getting to understand how to play it, if you have played lots of these types of games before though I think its worth the jump as long as your happy restarting a lot to learn the systems. Personally I recommend focusing on the families and managing them to start with then after your used to that then start exploring the other systems as they can feel quite overwhelming to start with. Overall I recommend this game to those into the genre who want a taste of something different and new!

While not having micro-management abilities in this game the idea of just ruling and letting the peasants do what they want is fun.

Great game with a great concept. I enjoy complex games, and this one has deep mechanics—which I like—but the UI for certain features is confusing. Some menus aren't well-organized or clearly explained, making it harder to navigate the game than necessary. I recommend reworking the UI/UX before adding new features.
Lacking.
Not gonna lie, this game feels very strange. It looks cute and I like town builders, especially those that revolve around trade, economy, and family building. However, I can't recommend this. Even if I dabble with it, I don't find its worth the price, NOR would I EVER recommend its full price. (£20???) 🥴 The game has a lot of really in depth things ...in some areas, for example storage and the AI works seemingly well there. But it feels...not complete. As soon as I made a 'family', there wasn't an option to PLAY. Just confirm. Confirm what? Okay, my family is made, now what? So I was like, okay, I'll just play the tutorial. The tutorial feels OK, I love a good tutorial. They can make or break a game. But then I spent literally ten minutes waiting for the characters to build on 3x speed. Also, when building you aren't shown the family/household zone. So when it was asking me to build 100 walls in the family zone, I was like, but where? Hope its here! - The pixels for the children are smushed and blurry, which shows they just shrank the hair down instead of redrawing new ones. (Which would be fine if this was a demo, in general VERY early access, but not TWENTY FREAKIN' POUNDS. - Genetics are non-existent. You are limited in character skin tones, and hair colours. I wanted a character with white or silver hair, but I had to go with blonde. Then I was limited to a few clothes. Maybe 3 recolours of the same outfit each. - The art style feels very RPG maker, making me wonder if the artist actually made the tiles, or if it was just bought. Which, also, would be fine, if it felt like a passion project. Unfortunately, it feels sort of unloved in a lot of areas, like a thing someone made ...to just make. I don't know how this game has so many positive reviews! I really felt like it wasn't worth it. It has so many ALMOST THERE concepts and I can tell the person who programmed this really spent time on it - but it absolutely isn't there yet. Edit. Just found out this is a full release game. Oof.

This game sucks. Right now, my ruling family won't build anything. They won't build walls. They won't build beds. They won't build their manor. They won't build either of the marketplaces, so I can't get caravans to visit. The carpentry profession is pointless and anyone employed won't actually do anything. Basically, I can't even get a settlement started. Sounds like a lot of fun, doesn't it? The developer is nothing but a thief. Steam should be fucking sued for even selling this pile of crap...
