Stunning game, aged very well. Had me welling up and breaking out in goosebumps at its more climactic moments. In this dopamine-driven world, it's worth playing this superbly crafted story that delivers some powerful emotional moments and builds a world and characters you'll feel connected to as you follow the path of ghosts laid out so expertly in front of you. It wouldn't be the same without the music - the score is simply sublime. So glad I played through this beguiling story.

This is a pretty decent story hidden in a pretty frustrating package. The map is not that big, allow me to open all doors, even if there's just a basically unfurnished room behind it. The inability to open doors in a deserted village (some with sound, and others without even that basic indication they won't open) is quite frustrating. Also, I know the game is short already, but for gods sake, let me move faster. I just stopped exploring by the end of it because I knew I'd have to walk back to where the happy little light-bulb wanted me to go. The light was a nice mechanic though. I sorta got attached to the excited little guy that wanted to show me the interesting spots. Anyway, if you can stand having to walk everywhere at a glacial pace, this is a nice story. Absolutely worth it during a sale or something.

Grueling. I assume there's a story in there somewhere, but trying to tell multiple disembodied voices apart during one cryptic conversation after another is the most mind-numbingly tedious way try to tell it. The rampant and unfixable technical issues only hurt the game further (even lowering the resolution does nothing to help). But the worst part of this walking simulator is the ridiculously slow speed you're forced to move at. "Snail's pace" is usually an exaggeration. But here, it's as literal as it gets and makes the game's five-hour playtime feel like weeks.

I built a new PC in 2025. Can't play this because performance is hot garbage. The boards and guides are full of suggested performance fixes, bu they devs never patched it? I'm not convinces the walk button does -anything- I think it's just a placebo to make you think you're moving quicker. I get its a walking sim, and I'm totally down for this (I've played and enjoyed many in the genre), but your speed here is slower than a crawl. Do the devs not know how fast people walk? Really disappointing. Don't buy.
