⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "Thou shalt not staple squirrels." – God (probably) So here's the premise: Your wife is dead. You're lonely. Do you cry? Do you move on? No. You grab a gun, a stapler, and a squirrel call—and you get romantic. This game is what happens when taxidermy meets therapy and absolutely no one intervenes. 🦿 Gameplay Highlights: Hunt squirrels. Skin squirrels. Staple squirrels to your decomposing wife. Avoid forest spirits who are weirdly judgmental about your DIY relationship counseling. 📚 Also Educational! Did you know squirrels can rotate their ankles 180°? Neither did I—until I saw one moonwalk up a tree while I questioned my life choices. 😱 Horror Factor: Off the charts. Day 1: Squirrels. Day 3: Voices. Day 5: The squirrels know what you did and they want revenge. 🎤 Final Thoughts: Imagine Red Dead Redemption got locked in a freezer with Silent Hill and a stapler. That's this game. 10/10 would commit woodland necromancy again. 🧔💘🐿️💍

Contrary to what the negative review may be saying, I don't hate davids work, in fact I love all his games for their gameplay, story, visual style and sound design and hell I even like this game with it's humor, cryptic lore and concept. The reason why it's a thumbs down is because this was originally an arcade game bundled in with other games in a game collection, therefore you couldn't really expect a decently sized game. So you would expect that the official standalone version of the game would be way more flesh out and have more things to see and do. unfortunately that's not the case, the game is simply too short and the full release doesn't really expanded upon the original game aside from some minor additions that don't really enhance the story telling or gameplay in a meaningful or fun way and there's no real reason to replay it unless you missed the collectibles and want to see the special mode you unlock. One the comparisons to this game could be Iron lung, but what made Iron lung work was the fact that the game had enough info you could find and a whole terminal you could ask questions to about topics that could be in the lore and with that you could come up with some conclusive story and what role you have but here you have only really scraps to work with which leaves you with more questions than answers I would like to close off by saying that I'm not here try and make you not buy the game and if you enjoy it, more power to you but I personally feel there could have been so much more and squirrel stapler isn't a bad game, it was just poorly expanded on arcade game that needs more to be considered worth the price

This game was sick and a little twisted. I'm just sad I didn't get to make my partner fully beautiful with my last round of squirrels. God can wait, my lady needs a fur right leg!

Gameplay is simple but effective, basic shooting mechanics and exploration within a limited open area. The real draw is its atmosphere: eerie ambient sound, lo-fi visuals, and progressively disturbing events that culminate in a nightmarish finale. While the game is brief (1-2 hours), it delivers a strong, focused experience. Its intentionally crude aesthetic and dark subject matter won’t appeal to everyone. But for fans of experimental horror with a flair for the grotesque and absurd, Squirrel Stapler is a disturbingly memorable oddity worth the time. Score: 7.5/10 Disturbing, darkly funny, and definitely not for the squeamish.

Is it interesting? Bizzare? Captivating? Does it leave an impression? Is it made by someone who knows what the hell they're doing with their creativity? Abso-fuckin-lutely. Why was this review almost left as negative? Because the asking price is INSANE for a 30 minute cool idea horror game that feels like it should be free or in a bundle for 50 cents maybe. Why did this review end up being positive? Because you can essentially experience the game in it's entirety and then be a scumbag and get a refund - which means the experience was free - which means my only gripe with the game - the price - is instakilled. It might be a bit scumbag-y to refund after fully experiencing what you paid for. This is something I would usually not condone. It feels like I'm scamming the artist. But I'm sorry Mr. Szymański - I can get entire-ass videogames for the price of this one and I do not have infinite money. If it were cheaper I'd happily leave my cash by your side.

The game is cool on the first playthrough, but the replayability is not worth the 20 bucks you spend to get the game. Go buy a game like Bopl Battle. Even more fun and WAY more replayability for only 10 bucks.
