Absolutely loved this game! Especially since you get a free copy for your apple and google accounts. (And they sync!) So not only did it save me hours of setup to play the card game, it allowed me to play anywhere I went and they'd sync up!(can play offline too) Of note, if you love this game and want the DLC then shop across all of the platforms as some have uber-discounted amounts. Once you get it, then it syncs across accounts again.

I tried to like this game as I'm a massive fan of the other games... I tried several times to play this but I keep getting 1 shotted by the exesively long as tutorials!! I mean broh!! Getting through the tutorial should be an achievement! Some of us have games to play here!! I thought this was a card game ....... Feels like I'm reading 10 frreken novels in 1 hit!!!! Anyways next time I want to get a PHD in reading I know where to go..... Respect to the 0.1 who got this achievement!!!!

No. One of the worst card games I've ever played, and it has nothing to do with the actual design of the cards, but the implementation of game mechanics. So, it works like this: You have a party of adventurers and you have to find the Big Bad Boss (BBB) in a given scenario. He also has henchmen. The BBB and the henchmen hide in various locations, which you explore in an attempt to thwart them. Cool! So far so good. However, this is where things start to get crap (the poor implementation mentioned above). So, you can divide your party (making encounters harder) to cover more ground, or keep one, two, three, whatever together to make a location easier, but at the cost of slowing down your party's exploration. And that's a problem because, you see, you are on a timer of 30 turns to try to cover like ten or more locations with a party of 6. Each location has 10 encounter cards in it, so at least 100 cards are present. You draw ONE encounter per character per turn. You can increase this by discarding cards, but even then, at most you'd be able to get through 2 encounters per character per turn. If you're playing averages, you'd be able to get through maybe 40% of total cards before the stupid timer runs out. What is the BBB is in the other 60%? Well, tough luck. You've never encountered him. Now, this is SOMEWHAT offset by the fact that his henchmen can also be encountered and it is more than likely you will encounter them and have the ability to close off the location permanently. This is the good part and the bad part. Good because it means you can close locations and therefore kill the poor odds (60% chance failure) against you. Bad because you MUST close ALL locations before encountering the BBB!!!! So, in a game where you are hoping to destroy the BBB, you are actually hoping NOT to encounter him before closing locations, or he will simply flee to another non-closed location. Who thought of this nonsense?! Once again: failing to close a location means that EVEN IF YOU ENCOUNTER THE BIG BAD BOSS, HE CAN FLEE TO A LOCATION YOU HAVEN'T CLOSED!!!! That's the real kick in the teeth. The other is the horrible RNG. I can't tell you how many times I've failed a 75% + chance of success odds roll. It's uncanny, improbable, therefore, it is rigged. But none of this ALONE wouldn't be game breaking if it wasn't ALL of it together. To make a good stew, you need the right "alchemy" - the correct ingredients. Tuna on its own is fine. Hot dogs on their own are fine. Pancakes on their own are fine. Now imagine putting all of these into a blender, mixing it with beer and drinking it. That's this game. Individually, its components are good and even great. But it manages to mash them together in the worst way possible to make for a frustrating and sh!++y game experience. Poor RNG + Time limit + The fact that you need to encounter the boss MULTIPLE TIMES (until all locations are closed!!!!!!!!) means this game is a waste of time and money. Remove either the time limit or the having to encounter the boss several times and you've got a great game. As it stands, it is horrendous, an affront to gaming and game design. In fact, just remove the cretinous time limit and it's all good. Man I hate games with timers. I'm glad to see it's no longer supported because games like this don't deserve to make money. I hope the company goes out of business. 0/10, don't ever waste my f&$$ing time like this again.
